Art imitates life on ‘Don’t Think You Ever Loved Me’ – the newest single from singer-actor Tyrese.

The six-time GRAMMY nominee, who recently went through a highly publicized divorce from his longtime partner Samantha Lee Gibson, unveiled the deeply personal tune to question his ex’s true intentions during their marriage.

I’ve never felt so vulnerable and exposed in a song. This is my life, this is my story, this what really happened,” Ty revealed in a statement about the Brandon ‘B.A.M.’ Hodge-produced song. “[Lenny] connected with my vulnerabilities instantly and took the conviction and emotions of this song into new heights.
Though he “retired from music” after the release of the 2015 LP, ‘Black Rose,’ Ty sent his dedicated fans into a frenzy recently with news he’s looking to plant a double album (titled ‘Beautiful Pain‘) on the Billboard charts soon.

‘Think,’ which features GRAMMY winner Lenny Kravitz and Le’Andria Johnson, serves as the set’s lead single. Hear it in full inside.

Aptly featuring vocals from DMX, ‘Kant’ samples the late rapper’s 1998 classic ‘N-ggaz Done Started Something.’

“Best rapper, ex-trapper, dress dapper / Swizzy gave me a headbanga, a neck snappa,” raps Wayne on the Swizz Beatz-produced bop. “Weezy F and the F is for F-bomber / Yes, mama, I’ma eat you like Jeff Dahmer.”

Despite alluding to retirement plans in late 2021, August Alsina has been cranking out a steady stream of new music over the last few months – much to the delight of his dedicated fans.

Rihanna‘s seismic Super Bowl Halftime Show proves itself the gift that keeps on giving.

As if earning praise aplenty from her celebrity peers, diehard fans (affectionately called #theNavy), and others wasn’t enough to celebrate, review of the updated Billboard charts saw her catalog of hits tackle and takedown some of today’s leading smashes.

The 13-minute showcase at the State Farm Stadium (February 12) has led to the best streaming week of her career thanks to reignited interest – a win reflected on the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard 200 (to historic measure).

Rihanna‘s EPIC Super Bowl Halftime Show may have split viewers on the critical front, but – as evidenced by the refreshed Hot 100 – the Pop diva has certainly scored a touch down commercially.

Thanks to her 13-minute set at the State Farm Stadium on February 12, Rih reinvigorated interest in her hit-filled catalog and went on to collect her largest streaming week yet as a result.

“Her song catalog earned 166.1 million U.S. on-demand official streams in the week ending Feb. 16. That’s up 156% compared to the previous week’s sum of 65 million,” Billboard reported.

In fact, the uptick in streaming and digital download activity that resulted from the halftime show was so strong it helped hoist three of her fan favorites – ‘We Found Love’ (#48), ‘Diamonds’ (#44), and ‘Umbrella’ (#37)- back into the Hot 100, besting the commercial performance of songs over a decade their junior.

Muni Long may have collected her first GRAMMY at this year’s ceremony on February 5, but that doesn’t mean she is resting on her laurels.

Teaming with Ty Dolla $ign, the lauded singer-songwriter recently played assistant on OG Parker‘s latest single ‘Still Work.’

“Day and night, I can be there/call me my number still works/You just gotta dial it first,” Ty sings on the cut’s chorus.

The third release from Parker’s forthcoming project, ‘Moments,’ ‘Workis lined with lyrics that speak to the ups and downs of the love that lingers after a romance has died.

With nearly seven years separating fans of Tweet from her latest album, the eponymous ‘Charlene’ (2016), the guitar-wielding songstress has been rolling out standalone singles over the last few years to keep her dedicated supporters satiated until official news drops about her next studio effort.

Beyond her solo releases like ‘Neva Gonna Break My Heart Again,‘ ‘Neva Felt This Way,’ ‘Remedy,’ and ‘I Admit It’ (as we reported here), the R&B diva has also played guest star on the well-received cuts of other artists.

Her latest in the latter stead comes courtesy of a supporting role on her longtime collaborator Charlie Bereal‘s 2023 remake of Curtis Mayfield‘s 1970 classic ‘The Makings of You.’
