Seeking a new starlet to stan for?
Meet Dua Lipa, the Urban-Pop princess set to ignite the charts with her new single ‘New Rules.’
I want people to see a piece of me. I want people to have an insight into everything that’s happened over the last few years while I was writing the album and actually really get to know me. It’s been good because when I released ‘New Love’ and ‘Be The One’, I had people say, ‘That really relates to me’. I want people to have that feeling and I want people to know that they’re not alone in all this and that we all go through the same things. That’s the main goal.
Said album, named after the singer herself, hit retailers on June 2nd and is now being supported by ‘Rules’ and its viral visual.
Last night, she took to Europa Plus Live in Russia to perform it live!

Usher‘s name has been a staple in the headlines over the last two weeks following herpes allegations and lawsuits gone public.
In a move many have scratched their heads at, the R&B star has made no comment. At all.
Now, it’s looking as though he may let the music do the talking. Specifically new music.

Welcome back to TGJ Replay!
Designed much like our ‘Retro Rewind’ and ‘From the Vault’ features, ‘Replay’ is That Grape Juice‘s newest reflective segment to act as a written quest to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday. Unlike its TGJ retrospective predecessors, ‘Replay’ looks to dust off and showcase entire albums (and eras) from a library of pop and Urban pop music hits.
This week, on its 25th birthday (July 28), we’ll ring up Mary J. Blige‘s debut album – ‘What’s the 411?’

The scent of controversy continues to choke the life of R. Kelly‘s legacy.
Weeks after the families of several young women claimed that they had been brainwashed into becoming members of a strange sex cult, the singer has learned that a story he thought he had buried has made its way to the light of day…and it stinks.
Court documents obtained by The Daily Mail revealed that the entertainer threw himself into legal trouble when a party he threw at a recording studio was shut down when his guests stained its hallways with urine and faeces.
In an eviction summons filed by the plaintiff, real estate company C/R Adlake Limited Partnership they accused the tenant (Kelly) of allowing his guests to trash the spot and causing havoc when the sister of one of his alleged sexual abuse victims burst in to rescue her.
Tenants’ invitees have soiled one of the hallways in the building with vomit, urine, and what is believed to be human faeces.
A police report for simple battery was filed at the location after the sister of one of R Kelly’s alleged captives was assaulted during a scuffle with the singer and his entourage when she went to the recording studio to try to rescue her teenage sibling.
The incident occurred on August 26, 2015, according to a police report seen by DailyMail.com. No arrests were made.
He is yet to respond.
Tinashe‘s latest single may be named ‘Flame,’ but the singer is looking to extinguish the desires of an overexcited fan.

Despite Katy Perry‘s heartiest efforts, the world watched on as her ‘Witness’ album quickly tanked post arrival.
Unwrapped last month without the padding of a preceding hit, the set premiered with 180k Sales-Plus-Streaming units. A figure that is by no means “bad,” but one that would go on to prove front-loaded.
Because in the time since, total sales of the LP have been stuck hovering at the 230k+ mark.
Worst still, the project has vanished from the US iTunes 100 suggesting a bounce-back is unlikely.
Undeterred, Perry is readying the video for ‘Swish Swish’ – her collaboration with Nicki Minaj.
Some are scratching their heads given that the song was first heard way back in May. But, with ‘Witness’ not being a buffet of obvious singles, it appears Perry is shooting her shot with her most plausible option.
Taking to social media, she teased its video. Peep the pic and caption below…
Mariah Carey‘s fans are renown for rallying against the star’s detractors and their latest target is UK TV presenter Eamonn Holmes.
The veteran broadcaster is not one to hold his tongue and has been vocal about his dislike for the songbird and her diva antics over the years. It’s a stance he says is directly linked to experiences interviewing Mimi in the past.
His latest jab (which came during a segment discussing an unflattering viral clip) seems to be one too many for the singer’s “Lambs.”
For, they’ve launched a petition demanding an apology.

Brandy was shocked, stunned and startled when her friend turned nemesis Tiyon Christian uploaded a text message she sent to him online after he learned that she may have mocked his recent cover of a Mariah Carey song.
Now, she has responded.
Alas, those hoping the pair would find peace after their digital war saw those hopes shattered when Christian, infuriated by the drama, posted the following message:
Forget winter, spring, summer, or fall because it’s about to be Pink season!
It’s been five years since the release of her last solo album, but today the Pop rebel has signalled her return to the charts – much to the elation of her fans.

As the world awaits a response from Usher over the herpes scandal everyone’s talking about, it appears more women are gearing up to lawyer up.
Giving a whole new meaning to ‘U Got It Bad,’ the singer has been rocked by claims that her passed on the STD to a woman after failing to disclose he was infected. A mistake he allegedly paid her $1.1 million for, after being levied with a lawsuit.
And now it looks as though there may be more mayhem to come.
Yesterday, another woman filed a $10 million suit alleging that the married star exposed her to the virus by having unprotected sex with her this year.
Today, a renown lawyer has suggested she may be representing more women with similar claims.
Fans of Keyshia Cole have expressed worry over the delay of her seventh studio album, ’11:11 Reset.’
With high hopes for the project kicked off in grand fashion by its February 2017 released lead single, the Remy Ma & French Montana-assisted tune ‘You,’ the Bay beauty hit the promo circuit heavily to perform the song and its would be successor, ‘Incapable.’ Once ‘You’ didn’t prove itself to be the sizable R&B hit some suggested it would be, she seemed to switch gears completely and announced another go at reality TV – this time on VH1’s hit series ‘Love & Hip Hop.’
The move left some wondering if the album had been shelved completely.
Recently hitting the promo trail in the show’s support, Cole was quizzed on ‘Reset’s stall and what music lovers should expect from its content when it is released. While she confirmed the album was indeed still in ‘the works,’ hear response was still quite surprising. Tuck in below to hear it:
