Despite a unique roll-out (see: VH1 reality dating show ‘Tremaine the Playboy’), ‘Tremaine’ – the latest album from Grammy-nominated R&B crooner Trey Songz – appeared to be his least anticipated to date.

Though impressively managing to work its way to #2 on the iTunes Top 100 less than 24 hours after its March 24th debut, the LP has been greeted with mixed reviews from leading music critics and fans alike.  Moreover, the set – preceded by a host of music videos unveiled in the weeks before it hitting shelves – stands as his only LP to date to be released without a Hot 100-charting single ahead of it.

With all these things considered, industry analysts have rendered their prediction for ‘Tremaine’s first week sales sum.  To our surprise, the numbers are more than fair.

‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ saw its season 9 premiere, which aired Saturday night [March 24], sashay to its highest ratings yet thanks to a “surprise” appearance from pop superstar Lady Gaga.

Making its VH1 debut after 8 seasons on LOGO, the drag reality competition series invited the Grammy-winning diva to act as a guest judge and mentor for the kickoff of its 9th season.  And, from the looks of things, Little Monsters and the show’s fans couldn’t wait to see her in action.
