Tank may have dropped jaws in 2022 when he announced his tenth studio album, ‘R&B Money,‘ would mark his final LP, but this week he dropped jaws for a different reason: an unexpected return to the music scene.

Tapping Fabolous to assist on the new single ‘Before We Get Started,’ the tune sees the 5x GRAMMY nominee sing about easing the worries of a would-be love interest.

“And before we get started / I know your heart is guarded, I know, ooh / Dealin’ with that tender love / Body to body to body / Girl, anywhere, I want you there,” Tank sings on the electric track.

At the time of its Friday (March 8) release, the singer-songwriter did not confirm what larger project ‘Before’ is attached to.

Tyla took to social media earlier this week to tease a “mystery guest” would join her on the official remix to her breakout hit, ‘Water.’

Released Friday (November 17), fans – after incorrectly guessing the likes of Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Latto, or Trevor Jackson would be accompanying her on the revamp of the global smash – learned it was Rap superstar Travis Scott who earned the coveted slot.

In what came as the ultimate dupe, however, the South African hitmaker unveiled not one but TWO updated takes on the GRAMMY-nominated song.

Chris Brown has unleashed the video for his brand new single ‘Sensational.’

The Afrobeats-kissed cut sees the hitmaker aptly team up with heavyweights from the genre Davido and Lojay.

Collectively, the eclectic trio trade verses over the melodic production – which has been paired with an equally slick visual. One, in which, C. Breezy – in trademark form – dances up a storm.

‘Sensational’ is lifted from the performer’s forthcoming studio album ’11:11.’

Comprised of 11 tracks, the themed set will arrive on November 11 (11/11).

Ciara‘s ‘How We Roll‘ may have rolled onto the current Billboard charts as one of the top-selling R&B songs of the week, but just two weeks after delivering that Chris Brown-assisted bop she is rolling on to its follow-up: ‘Forever.’

“Everyone’s hatin’, goin’ half on a baby / They think that I’m crazy / ‘Cause one night only can be enough / Some say I’m hatin’ because I be sayin’, “Love is amazin,'” she opens in verse 1 of the Jaydot-produced cut.

Nearly 7 years after the rising rapper-singer released ‘Hey Mickey,’ the tune unexpectedly took off on Tik Tok – a resurgence that’s helped it become her first charting single (having peaked at #40 so far on the main Hip-Hop/R&B chart).

To help it reach even higher heights on that tally and beyond, Tate tapped ‘Tap In‘ star Saweetie to assist on its revamp.
