Jennifer Hudson Sings The US National Anthem At The Superbowl

Jennifer Hudson made her first public appearance since the tragic killings of her mother, brother and nephew at tonight’s Superbowl XLIII in the US, singing the US national anthem – The Star Spangled Banner.
WOW! Jennifer joined the ranks of Whitney and Mariah with her performance of this particular song on this particular stage. It really goes to show why Ms. Hudson is one of the premier voices in today’s industry. Welcome back Jennifer! Amazing.

Pussycat Dolls – ‘Bottle Pop’ Video
The video for the Pussycat Dolls latest single premiered a few hours ago (a better quality version will be posted when available). Though the song serves as one of the better songs on the girl’s current LP ‘Doll Domination’ (which isn’t saying much), the video is pretty much standard PCD fare…nothing new.

Rihanna Performs ‘Disturbia’ On Pepsi Smash

Rihanna hit the stage at VH1’s Pepsi Smash concert in Tampa, Florida earlier this week to perform her hit ‘Disturbia’. I’d be lying if I said the, at times, terrible vocals didn’t leave a salty taste in my mouth, but I guess it’s to be expected.

Keyshia Cole Covers VIBE
Keyshia Cole Covers VIBE
Peep Keyshia Cole on the cover of VIBE magazine’s Style Issue. While Keyshia has upped her game in the style front, I can’t say the same for her music. I’m really not feeling her latest album ‘A Different Me’.

The filming of the clip, which premieres February 9th, marks the beginning of a busy stretch for Hudson, whose mother, brother and nephew were tragically murdered last fall. She’s singing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl on Sunday and is performing at the Grammy Awards the following weekend.

More power to her!

Ciara ‘Never Ever’ Access Granted Commercial
Peep the short commercial above for Ciara’s Access Granted for the video for her single ‘Never Ever’. CiCi looks great in the clip, which premieres in its entirety on Friday, however I just cannot get into the song. Here’s hoping the video compensates for the song ala ‘Go Girl’.
