She looked great, but I found myself wondering: with her live vocals -her main appeal IMO- being so inconsistent (aka shot), will there be much of a rush to see her live – especially considering her stage presence leaves a lot to be desired?
Will you be checking for Mariah’s tour?
It has been announced that Michelle William’s forthcoming LP ‘Unexpected’ has been pushed back to October 7th.
The strategy, as relayed by her label, is to service ‘Hello Heartbreak’ to Dance radio, whilst going all out with ‘The Greatest’, the album’s official second single, on all other formats. More television is being lined up for Michelle throughout August and September also. What’s more, there will be a promotion giving fans the chance to get their hands on a copy in August.
Here’s hoping things pan out as planned; for, the serial delays experienced by many an artist last year didn’t end up working in their favor. Fingers crossed Michelle defies the odds.
Peep Amerie looking fly, as usual, in this new promo pic. The latest addition to the Def Jam roster is currently working on the follow-up to her ‘Because I Love It’ LP, with a bevy of hit-makers including Bryan Michael Cox and Ne-Yo.

Check out the official cover for Solange’s sophomore album ‘Sol-Angel & The Hadley Street Dreams’ (due August 26th via Geffen/Music World). Real different; I’m liking it a lot.
Believe it or not, there were still financial repercussions lingering for Janet Jackson’s now infamous ‘Nipplegate’ moment at the Superbowl four years ago. However, it has been announced that the last of the barrage if fines leveled against the networked which aired it, CBS, has been dropped:
PHILADELPHIA – A federal appeals court has thrown out a $550,000 fine against CBS Corp. for the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show that ended with Janet Jackson’s breast-baring “wardrobe malfunction.”
The three-judge panel in Philadelphia ruled Monday that the Federal Communications Commission “acted arbitrarily and capriciously” in issuing the fine for the fleeting image of nudity.The 90 million people watching the Super Bowl, many of them children, heard Justin Timberlake sing, “Gonna have you naked by the end of this song,” as he reached for Jackson’s bustier. {Source}
About time already. All parties seemed to have moved on anyway, so the fine really was pointless IMO.
Hmm…
Publicity stunt or legit: What do you guys think?

Edit: I just watched it again…LMAO…A mess.
Anyway, Khia’s ‘Nasti Musik’ LP is out now – its release was pushed up to avoid ‘internet downloading’..LOL…I’m almost in tears.
