In an attempt to save his vocal cords, ‘Save Your Tears’ hitmaker The Weeknd made headlines over the weekend when he pulled the plug on the Los Angeles stop of his ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ tour because his voice gave out (as we reported here).
Offering apologies and promising to reschedule the show, the GRAMMY winner (born Abel Tesfaye) quickly took to social media shortly after the abrupt concert ending to reiterate his remorse.
“My voice went out during my first song and I’m devastated,” he started the message. “Felt it go and my heart dropped. My deepest apologies to my fans here. I promise I’ll make it up to you with a new date.”
And though he’s yet the confirm when his return to LA’s SoFi Stadium is scheduled for, he did take to Instagram to give an optimistic update about his health. Giving his resident fans there a glimmer of hope his revisit will be sooner than later, look inside to see exactly what he said.
