As two of the most important Black artists to ever grace recorded music, Dionne Warwick (one of the best-selling female acts of all time) and Gladys Knight (the crowned ‘Empress of Soul’) not only boast six decades of impact respectively but they also own two of the most recognized names, voices, and faces in their field.

Despite the aforementioned, earlier this week – during one of Serena Williams‘ farewell tennis matches at the US Open – Twitter went up in flames when analyst/announcer Chanda Rubin misidentified Warwick as Knight (who were both in attendance at the star-studded showing).

Yet while the negative criticism poured in heavily for Rubin, Dionne and Gladys seemed to be the least offended by the mixup.

Funnyman Aries Spears has been getting everything BUT laughs over the last two weeks.

When not in headlines for allegations of sexual misconduct with minors, the 47-year-old was trending on Twitter for his unprovoked slamming of GRAMMY winner Lizzo for her appearance and public antics.

Likening the diva to the “sh*t emoji” in a recent interview (as we reported here), Spears’ fat-shaming attack found him on the receiving end of the very criticism he wielded against the songstress.

Sunday (August 28), Liz slyly clapped back at this comments while accepting an award at this year’s MTV VMAs.

Just days later, Aries’ interview with VLADTV surfaced in which he addressed her response to the haters.  Look inside to see what he said.

Taylor Swift, already one of the most successful artists in Billboard’s 64-year history, keeps piling on the record-breaking feats at the publication.

On the Hot 100 side she’s listed as the female act with the most overall appearances, most top 10 debuts (20), most top 40 hits (86), and more.  The Billboard 200 sings the ‘All Too Well’ singer’s praises just as much as she’s the female artist with the most albums on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums of All Time list (4), the female act with the most #1 albums in a calendar year (3), the female act with the most consecutive #1 studio albums (10), and she ranks as the woman with the most career weeks at #1 on the tally (55).

And while those stats are just the tip of the iceberg, this week saw her add yet another jaw-dropping accomplishment to her list of Billboard 200 achievements.

Another one (or two)!  DJ Khaled keeps the videos coming in support of ‘God Did,’ his latest studio album.

Set to hit #1 on next week’s Billboard 200 (as we reported here), the project’s seen a number of its 18 tracks gifted the visual treatment.

Already blessing ‘God’-housed cuts like the Kodak Black and Nardo Wick-backed ‘It Ain’t Safe,’ the Future and SZA-assisted ‘Beautiful,’ the 21 Savage-enlisted ‘Way Past Luck,’ ‘Party‘ (featuring Quavo and Takeoff), ‘Keep Going’ (featuring Lil Durk, 21 Savage, & Roddy Ricch), and more with the visual treatment (as we reported here), the tunes ‘Jadakiss Interlude’ (featuring its namesake) and ‘Big Time’ (featuring Future and Lil Baby) also have accompanying clips that recently surfaced.

While ‘Jadakiss Interlude’ is directed by Ivan Berrios and sees its stars hit the streets of NYC, ‘Big Time’ is directed by Eif Rivera and sees its stars take time to get away to a lush estate where their needs are taken care of by a staff of scantily-clad beauties.
