Michelle Williams has had it with the constant reminders of her highly publicized fall on live television 16 years ago.

The infamous incident, which occurred during a Destiny’s Child performance of ‘Soldier’ on BET’s ‘106 & Park’ in 2004, has plagued the songstress for years and become a point of emotional trigger for her – a truth she waxes honest about in the hotly-selling memoir/self-help book ‘Checking In’ (available now).

Still hot on the promo trail in the book’s support, Williams recently took to ‘Larry Reid Live’ to dish on her desire to stop recording solo music, the possibility of a DC3 reunion, and more.  But, when the host made a joking reference to the 16-year-old on-stage mishap, Michelle made sure she let viewers know how tired she was of the topic.

Dionne Warwick is the latest name to weigh in on the DaBaby debacle.

As covered extensively, the rapper has been slammed in earnest after making remarks on stage at Rolling Loud Miami that were homophobic and insensitive to those living with HIV.

The backlash has been both big and blazing, with DaBaby receiving critique from his contemporaries and corporations – some of whom have dropped him from collaborations.

Madonna was one of the many who clapped back at the seemingly defiant rapper, lambasting his hateful words and their impact.

Now, another legend – Dionne Warwick – is speaking up and out to thank Madonna for the teachable moment.

Queen of Pop Madonna adds her name to the growing list of detractors royally slamming embattled rapper DaBaby for his homophobic comments at ‘Rolling Loud’ Sunday (July 25).

As we previously reported, the emcee (born Jonathan Kirk) has been embroiled in controversy since he took to the concert festival stage to publicly denounce men who “suck d*ck in parking lots’ and those who ‘showed up with AIDS that’ll make [them] die in 2-3 weeks.”  His statements were met with fury and shock, much of which has led to lost endorsements and slams from fellow celebrities and LGBTQ+ allies like Elton John, Dua Lipa, Anitta, Demi Lovato, and many more.

Now, the Material Girl – a Pop star who has long made loud her advocacy for AIDS-related causes over her nearly 40-year career – has a few words Kirk.  See them inside:

After nearly 40 years in the limelight, Madonna continues to prove ‘Express Yourself’ is more than just a classic hit for her; it – often to controversial measure – is a way of life.

Nearly two years after making headlines for using her provocative ‘God Control’ music video to advocate for the reform of gun control laws in the United States, the 62-year-old diva continues to use her platform to speak out against related injustices – namely the deaths of unarmed men of color at the hands of police.

No stranger to criticism for such statements, Madge fielded a variety of responses when she took to Instagram earlier this week to weigh in on the killing of 20-year-old Daunte Wright – a Black Minneapolis man who police allege was shot and killed accidentally at a traffic stop.  To the surprise of many, however, one commenter’s criticism on the matter got a royal clap back from the Queen of Pop.
