In April, Pop superstar Dua Lipa debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 with the highest first week sales of her career thanks to her sophomore album, ‘Future Nostalgia’ (as we reported here).

Led to chart battle by hits ‘Physical,’ ‘Break My Heart,’ and ‘Don’t Start Now’ (her highest charting single ever), the project remains a mainstay in the tally’s top 40 over four months after its release.

In a bid to boost it to even higher heights than its previous peak, Lipa announced a deluxe edition – ‘Club Future Nostalgia’ – and recruited a royal deck of players to assist including Queen of Pop Madonna, Rap Queen Missy Elliott, Queen of Ska-Pop Gwen Stefani, and more.

Now, after abundant teasing, fans can listen to the remixed set in full.  It awaits inside:

Aged 69, the award-winning actor – who’s earned acclaim on Broadway, film, and television over his lengthy career – most famously starred in 80’s cult classics ‘Crocodile Dundee’ (1986) and ‘Desperately Seeking Susan’ (1985) alongside the Pop megastar.

Taking to Instagram Thursday (March 26), the Pop Queen poured out heartfelt condolences to Blum’s family and fans – fondly remembering her time with him on ‘Susan’s set.

Since the cancellation of her ill-fated ‘Madame X’ world tour two weeks ago (as we reported here), Madonna‘s seemingly been using her downtime constructively – a process of physical therapy, journaling, and resting she’s heavily documented on Instagram.

Initially earning praise from longtime fans for her long overdue break, the diva’s weekend weigh-in on the coronavirus pandemic saw her turn those cheers to chiding.

Just days before the kick off of her highly anticipated ‘Madame X’ tour, Queen of Pop Madonna saw her fans royally disappointed by a mailing they received from Ticketmaster which expressly forbids the use of cell phones during her concerts.

Although the move is one being embraced by a number of artists who feel concertgoers on phones during shows disconnects them from currency, the increased popularity of fan captured footage has also served to the detriment of performers in ways that include decreased demand for tour DVDs or related videoed merchandise, decreased demand for concert ticket purchase, and increased likelihood of mishaps being captured and going viral (i.e. audio fails, slip and fall on stage, etc.).

Madge fans are particularly pissed because a number of them could not attend the concert in person due to its limited locations and/or cost.  As such, unlike with her previous outings, their absence means they won’t even get to enjoy footage on Youtube or social media.  Ouch!  Needless to say, they aren’t happy about it:

Despite becoming the Pop Queen’s 9th #1 album, Madonna‘s latest LP, ‘Madame X,’ made history for the biggest second week drop from the top spot by a female act in the chart’s history (click here to read more).  As if that wasn’t enough, the set slipped out of the Billboard 200 completely less than a month after its chart premiere date.

Undeterred by the project’s mixed critical reviews and commercial nonperformance,  Madge – hard at work in preparation for the launch of the highly anticipated ‘Madame X’ tour – is continuing to promote the effort by lifting visuals for its content.  Having already gifted viewers with videos for the likes of album cuts ‘Crave,’ ‘Medellin,’ ‘Dark Ballet,’ ‘I Rise,’ and ‘God Control,’ now the Pop diva’s gearing up to unveil the accompanying clip for fan favorite, ‘Batuka.’

Will it be enough to reverse ‘X’s fortune to date?  Tell us inside:

Albeit no stranger to controversy, the past few years have seen more than one incident of Queen of Pop Madonna facing backlash for racial insensitivity.

4 years after apologizing for calling her White son the ‘n-word’ as a ‘term of endearment,’ the #Beyhive dragged the aging diva for ‘innocently’ referring to herself as Jay Z and Beyonce‘s ‘master’ (click here to read more). Now, as she continues preparation for the launch of her highly anticipated ‘Madame X’ tour, the ‘Sorry’ singer will soon have to wield an apology for lifting a picture to Instagram that’s outraged many of her fans.

Arguably her most critically polarizing work since 2003’s ‘American Life,’ Queen of Pop Madonna‘s new album, ‘Madame X,’ was still able to mark a spot atop this week’s Billboard 200 (the 9th effort of her career to do so).

And, while none of the set’s official or buzz singles managed to break into the Billboard Hot 100, public interest in the LP has been buoyed by the tunes’ respective music videos – the latest being the controversial ‘God Control’ (click here to watch).

Fans curious to know about the inspiration behind ‘Control’ (a song that promotes gun law reform) and its co-tenants on ‘Madame X’ will be pleased to learn about the new documentary, ‘The World of Madame X.’  Set in Lisbon, Portugal – the city described as the Pop potentate’s muse for this project – Madonna walks viewers through the creation process of each song, showcases her collaborators, and tells the story of how each tune earned a spot on the final project.
