After kissing the top of charts last year with his official debut album ‘Kiss Land,’ Canadian crooner The Weeknd has been emo-R&B’s must hear crooner.  Dropping many-a-jaw last week with his NSFW video ‘Often,’ the singer – born Abel Tesfaye – returns with a bit more work-friendly video for his new single ‘King of the Fall.’

A seductive affair equipped with all of the ingredients that make for a Weeknd video (mystery, sex, melancholy), the song and its accompanying visual comes just before Tesfaye is set to embark on a tour of the same name this fall (featuring SchoolBoy Q and Jhene Aiko).

Ever keen on keeping the masses abreast of fresh and/or often underrated talent, That Grape Juice presents ‘The Spill’ – a renewed look at not-so-new, yet active, acts.

Much like its ‘Freshly Squeezed’ sister segment, this revived assay aims to put the magnifying glass on talents who may not appeal to the buying public on a broad scale yet are still serving material that could easily spin side-by-side with some of today’s top hits.

Covering a kaleidoscope of genres, ‘The Spill’ is set to feature some names you probably know and love as well as some you’ll (soon) be glad to know.  Click below to find out the spill on crooners Omarion, Luke James, The Weeknd, and much more…

Drake isn’t done with Kendrick Lamar yet.

Just hours after officially dropping his ‘Push Ups‘ diss directed to Lamar, Future, Rick Ross, Metro Boomin, The Weeknd, and more), the 6 God is blessing his fans with another slam of Kendrick – this time via the tune ‘Taylor Made Freestyle.’

“I guess you need another week to figure out how to improve / What the f-ck is taking so long? We waiting on you / The rest of y’all are definitely involved, y’all getting it too / Soon as you get the courage to drop, I’m out on the loose,” he boasts in the sizzling new track.

Featuring what appears to be verses from 2Pac and Snoop Dogg using artificial intelligence, the use of those legendary vocals comes as a subtle dig toward Lamar who has gotten the ultimate nod from West Coast legends like Snoop, The Game, Warren G, and others.

Travis Scott styles, profiles, and sparkles on the cover of GQ’s Men of the Year issue.

The Houston-born Hip-Hop hitmaker returned to the top of the charts in triumphant form this year with his album ‘Utopia’ and reaffirmed his spot as one of music’s most successful acts.

And while the #1 LP sonically lives up to its title for many of Scott’s fans, its release is unavoidably engulfed in the aftermath of the Astroworld tragedy.

As extensively reported, 10 people lost their lives after a stampede broke out at the 2021 festival and a fatal crushing occurred.

Scott found himself supported by some but was also the subject of critique and an eventual investigation after he continued performing for a short time while the melee unfolded.

In the immediate aftermath and in the time since the superstar has maintained he was not aware of the gravity of what was going on in real life and stressed that he could only see a short distance into the crowd.

Nonetheless, an arguable cloud of sorts has trailed him and his output following the tragedy.

Seizing the newly unwrapped profile piece, Scott disambiguates and expands on his mindset about the situation, returning to music, and more.

Diddy has long established a global footprint as one of music’s most revered maestros.

It’s a legacy that was celebrated in earnest at the superstar’s ‘One Night Only’ show in London with the UK Rap icon, Giggs.

The live extravaganza was housed at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire last night (November 7) and uniquely blended the power pair’s potent hit list.

Ever the showman, Diddy did not disappoint. Armed with his trademark charisma, the Bad Boy founder blazed the stage with hits such as ‘Mo Money, More Problems,’ ‘Last Night,’ and ‘I Don’t Wanna Know.’ A well-received spotlight was shone on material from his recently released project, ‘The Love Album: Off The Grid’ too.

The multihyphenate also sprung surprise guests on the sold-out crowd such as his son King Combs, Lojay, and Shyne – the latter of whom blew the roof off the building with a rousing rendition of ‘Bonnie-n-Shyne.’

Elsewhere, Giggs commanded with seasoned ease – electrifying with the likes of ‘Whippin Excursion’ and ‘Talking The Hardest.’

Together the duo also delivered the debut live showing of their collaboration ‘Mandem.’

Proceeds from ticket sales for ‘One Night Only’ were donated to two important charities benefitting the Black British community: Sickle Cell Society and Black Minds Matter.

After garnering critical acclaim for ‘The Love Album: Off the Grid, his first studio effort in 17 years, Diddy is hoping for more of the same and extending the era by lifting the lid on news surrounding the project’s accompanying short film.

Titled ‘Off the Grid,’ the forthcoming movie is sonically powered by some of the tunes found aboard its star-studded companion opus (which featured the likes of Jazmine Sullivan, Mary J. Blige, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Summer Walker, H.E.R., and many more).

Starring opposite actress-model Eva Apio, the action-packed flick sees the two engulfed in the thrills and risks of a whirlwind romance.

“Working with Eva Apio was an incredible experience. Her talent and energy brought my vision to life,” Diddy said in a press release.

As music lovers continue to get acquainted with the Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Teyana Taylor‘s futuristic ‘Closer to God‘ music video, the former lifts the lid on the behind the scenes clip that shows how all the magic came to be.

Directed by Teyana, the visual – which supports the song of the same name found aboard Diddy’s latest LP ‘The Love Album: Off the Grid‘ – takes place in a majestic desert.

“Working on ‘Closer To God’ was a spiritual journey in itself,” said Teyana who previously directed Combs’ ‘Gotta Move On‘ music video. “The song’s message of love and divine connection resonated deeply with me, and visually representing that was a beautiful challenge… The video captures the profound sentiment of feeling divinely connected when in the presence of true love. It paints a picture of raw emotion, vulnerability, and the magic of finding someone who brings you closer to the divine.”

Diddy hasn’t hidden his endorsement of Yung Miami and has been all sorts of open about his love for the City Girls star – both personally and professionally.

Indeed, beyond admitting that they “go together…real bad,” the mogul has provided a platform for the femcee’s brand to thrive by way of her ‘Careesha Please’ show on his network Revolt.

It appears the latter has Diddy – born Sean Combs – particularly excited about Yung Miami’s prospects.
