Over two years after its release, Doja Cat‘s inaugural Hot 100 #1 hit ‘Say So’ still has people talking – and downloading and streaming apparently.

The Recording Industry Association (RIAA) recently took to press to reveal the 26-year-old, who is currently putting her music career on hold while she recuperates from throat surgery, is still getting major love on digital music sale and streaming platforms as evidenced by the ongoing commercial performance of singles from her last two albums ‘Hot Pink’ and ‘Planet Her.’

On Friday (July 1), the organization announced the certification upgrade of a whopping 22 titles from Cat’s beloved discography.  Look inside to see if your favorite Doja tune has climbed up the RIAA rung.

‘I Believe I Can Fly’ hitmaker R. Kelly believes he’s been the subject of cruel and unusual punishment during his stint at a Brooklyn detention center.

The embattled singer, who was recently handed a 30-year sentence on sex trafficking and racketeering crimes, claims he was wrongfully put on suicide watch due to his high-profile status.  Claims, which according to Kelly, are unfounded as he “expressly told MDC officials he was not suicidal.”

Janet Jackson brought the heat to New Orleans with a seismic set at the Essence Festival of Culture 2022.

Taking command of the Caesars Superdome, the leader of the ‘Rhythm Nation’ blew the roof off the building with back-to-back hits during her headlining showing.

The Queen of Pop powered through classics such as ‘If,’ ‘Feedback,’ ‘That’s The Way Love Goes,’ and ‘Control’ – much to the delight of the 80,000 in attendance.

That Grape Juice was in the building and indeed confirm that Ms. Jackson came, slayed, and conquered that stage.

Drake is full of surprises. Now more than ever before.

Because just weeks after dropping Dance album ‘Honestly, Nevermind’ unannounced, the Hip-Hop titan joined iconic Pop ensemble, The Backstreet Boys, live on-stage tonight.

The group’s latest tour made a stop in Drizzy’s hometown of Toronto and the MC made an unpredictable appearance alongside Brian, Nick, AJ, Howie, and Kevin.

Christening the rapper “the sixth member” of the group, the collective performed a collaborative take on the classic anthem ‘I Want It That Way.’

Mary J. Blige fans who can’t wait for the September 17 kick off of the diva’s forthcoming ‘Good Morning Gorgeous’ tour are in for a treat thanks to Apple Music.

The digital music giants took to press this week to announce a ‘one night only’ concert will air live from New York City’s United Palace.  The live taping, set for July 13, will be available to stream exclusively on Apple Music on July 27 and will see Blige crank out many of her timeless classics as well as some of the newer tunes from her latest studio album, ‘Good Morning Gorgeous.’

“From continuing to act, to recording and releasing my 15th studio album, growing and expanding different businesses like Sun Goddess and Sister Love Jewelry, to performing at the Super Bowl, launching my Strength of a Woman Festival and Summit and now getting ready to go back on tour, it feels amazing to take this opportunity to celebrate, reflect and have an intimate night with my fans through this platform Apple Music is providing me,” Blige said about the event.

Adele reaffixed the focus on her magnetic music at her comeback show at BST Hyde Park in London.

The hometown hero wowed the 65,000 capacity crowd with songs known and new – including ‘Hello,’ ‘Rolling In The Deep,’ ‘Someone Like You,’ and ‘Easy On Me’ from her chart-topping latest album, ’30.’

In traditional Adele form, the two-show fused titan-sized anthems with the warm personality the world has come to know and love.

The headline shows are the first the 34-year-old has embarked on since postponing her Las Vegas residency amidst ample drama.
