Looks like Ciara won’t be the only R&B beauty walking down the aisle soon.

For, after weeks of speculation, Grammy-winning songstress Kelly Rowland has finally lifted the lid on news that she would soon marry her manager Tim Witherspoon.  The ‘Keep It Between Us’ diva has kept mum on the topic, that is, until a recent visit with Queen Latifah.

For some, it marks an inconvenient stain on a career that’s seen him hailed the King of R&B.

Alas, despite numerous efforts to drown out its noise with new material, R.Kelly will never be able to escape the allegations that have seen him branded a systematic predator by the general public.

Allegations, that detail the great lengths the entertainer reportedly went to lure and later abuse numerous underage girls, some of whom- rather horrifically- were in the eighth grade when the alleged abuse took place.

Now, after being faced with a damning article published by The Village Voice, the performer addressed the matter during an interview with Atlanta’s V-103.

A horrific story below…

Arguably incapable of creating ‘bad’ music, The Dream would be right to believe that he stands as one of the best things to happen to Pop music.

Responsible for more ‘contemporary classics’ than he’s oft given credit for, his work has now seen him become one of the world’s most sought after creatives, enlisted by the likes of Beyonce and Rihanna time and time again to pen the hits they rock the world with…time and time again.

Now, after collaborating with Reality TV star Kim Kardashian, the Grammy winner has now claimed the beauty can ‘out-sing’ a number of today’s chart staples.

‘It’s sad…so sad…such a sad, sad situation.’

Perhaps by way of the confusion that overshadowed the role out of her fourth studio album ‘4‘, Beyonce‘s status as a ‘mega-selling’ act found itself coming under disrepute when the project spawned modest numbers for the star.

Modest- in her case- being first week sales of 310,000 units. This, a figure that stood as one of her lowest but still saw her stand head and shoulders above the likes of Katy Perry and Rihanna, who are yet to scan that many units in any of their opening weeks thus far.

Now, despite the great-and at times unfortunate- lengths they went to see their latest LPs dominate the charts, these ladies have now had the commercial carpet pulled from beneath their heels by the firm hand that is…Beyonce.

How?

December 12th 2013. Remember this date.

For, on this day- following the release of his brand new number ‘Towers of Tokyo‘- That Grape Juice predicts that Elijah Blake will become the one most celebrated R&B males in Pop history.

A little ambitious? Not really.

For, if the aforementioned ‘Tokyo’ is anything to go by, the 23 year old singer/songwriter is on course to becoming quite the force in both his genre and the industry at large, enlisting Jack Splash to produce a cut that screams ‘hit.’

Not sure why we’re so excited?

Now sisters in the ‘ROC’, Rihanna and Shakira now find themselves housed by a mega label on course for world domination…at least as far as entertainment goes.

So, as to ensure the performer’s first release under their guidance avoids ‘Flopsville’, the label reportedly enlisted Rihanna to appear on the ‘Beautiful Liar‘s brand new single, beneficial for both parties.

Now watch ‘Timbre’ Rapper Pitbull confirm the duet during an interview with ‘Kidd Nation’, seemingly doing so without realising he was doing so.

Confused?

Kelly Rowland may already be moulding a new album, but that hasn’t halted her promotional push for ‘The X Factor’.

With the FOX hit almost at finale stage, the R&B siren stopped by The Arsenio Hall Show last night to plug her stint on the talent-search.

Ever versed in asking the questions folk really want answers to, the seasoned host quizzed the singer squarely on her time on the panel, the Beyonce component of ‘Dirty Laundry’, those engagement rumors, and more.

Flip the hood for all the action…

Earlier this Summer That Grape Juice was privy to preview several tracks from Toni Braxton and Babyface‘s new album ‘Love, Marriage, & Divorce’. The taste had us salivating for more, yet more so had us happy that Braxton re-considered her retirement.

The latest issue of UPTOWN magazine sees the Grammy winning diva not only pose it up alongside her longtime collaborator, but  wax honest about her reasons for wanting to retire – which she says revolved around depression and career insecurity.

However, as the #1 success of current single ‘Hurt You’ highlights, the singer has little reason to fret, for there clearly remains ample demand for her brand of grown and sexy.
