N.E.R.D are just days away from releasing new album ‘NO_ONE EVER REALLY DIES’ – their first body of work in seven years.

The star-studded set features a who’s who of the music industry – including Rihanna and rapper Kendrick Lamar; with the latter appearing on two tracks.

One of said songs is christened ‘Don’t Don’t Do It!’ and has been unleashed today.

The socially-conscious cut was inspired by the harrowing story of Keith Lamont Scott – an Afro-American man killed by police in front of his wife. Despite not even being the suspect in question, he was fired at when asked to put his hands up. According to his family, he suffered from a brain ailment that made him unable to properly comprehend what he was being asked.

Her last words to her husband? ‘Don’t don’t do it.’

Queen of Hip Hop Soul Mary J. Blige has been such winning royal praise for her outstanding dramatic performance as “Florence Jackson” in the Netflix period drama ‘Mudbound’ (also starring Garrett Hedlund, Carey Mulligan, Rob Morgan, & more), that she’s being greeted with Oscar buzz aplenty.  Now, in a bid to ensure said buzz is not limited to the ceremony’s acting categories, the songstress has unveiled the original song, ‘Mighty River.’

Co-written with famed singer/songwriter Raphael Saadiq, the tune comes as one of 30 gems found aboard the film’s official soundtrack [available for purchase now].  Hear it in full inside:

Two weeks ago fans were treated to a serving of ‘Lemon’ – the surprise collaborative effort of rap/production supergroup N.E.R.D. and pop diva Rihanna.  Debuting after weeks of speculation, the comeback tune was an immediate hit among critics who not only likened it to some of the group’s better known classics, but also praised Rih for tapping into new corners of her artistry (see: rapped verses).

Shortly after its unveiling, the song shot up streaming and iTunes charts – eventually peaking at #8 on the latter.  Now, with a full tracking week of streaming and digital sales behind it, ‘Lemon’ finally makes its debut on the Hot 100.

Remy Ma is leaving no stone unturned in the promotion for new single ‘Wake Me Up’ featuring Lil Kim.

The rapstress stopped by The Wendy Williams Show (which was celebrating its 1500th episode) to dish on a number her own hot topics.

Discussed were comeback, squashing beef and developing a friendship with Kim, her new record deal and manager, as well as her marriage to Papoose.

Rita Ora was the belle of the ball tonight at the 2017 MTV Europe Music Awards.

Taking place in her hometown of London, the multimedia maven was tapped to host the evening’s festivities.

A highly energised Ora dazzled in a variety of ensembles and also took to the stage to perform two of the year’s biggest hits – her tracks ‘Your Song’ and ‘Anywhere.’

The latter has taken the UK charts by storm and presently sits at #1 on the iTunes tally.

Eminem and Beyonce surprised the masses yesterday with the debut of collaboration ‘Walk On Water.’

Though Slim Shady’s return had been teased, few could have predicted that he’d recruited Queen Bey for the first taste of hotly anticipated album ‘Revival.’

It appears the duo’s output is resonating with the masses.

Because less than a day after its premiere, the track is besting the rest on the US iTunes tally.
