As reported here, his albums ‘The Very Best of Prince’ and ‘Purple Rain’ are #1 and #2 this week respectively based on sales amassed in less than 24 hours. With continued coverage of circumstances surrounding his untimely passing taking over television and radio airwaves, nostalgic fans have run to digital and brick and mortar record stores to pay homage to the fallen singer/songwriter.

The wildly anticipated project arrived on TIDAL first where it enjoyed a brief window of exclusivity.
And while it’s being reported the set will remain a TIDAL streaming exclusive in perpetuity (aka forever), it has – as of this morning – become available to purchase on iTunes US and Amazon Music.
