And…the claws are out yet again.

Indeed, it’s been two years since Queen of Pop Madonna took her first jab at pop princess Lady Gaga – labeling the young Grammy winner’s 2011 hit ‘Born This Way’ as “reductive” for its similarity to her 1989 hit ‘Express Yourself’.

What came after were months and months of Madonna doing just that – expressing herself via interviews and a highly publicized “Born This Way/Express Yourself” mashup performed live on her blockbuster ‘M.D.N.A.‘ world tour that courted much attention from her fans and Little Monsters alike.

Unlike Madge, Gaga has kept fairly mum on the topic since its beginnings, but now the ‘Poker Face’ performer is dealing a new hand to reheat a battle some thought had cooled.  Her newest statements below:

Grammy winning songstress Ciara has certainly been doing her fair share of winning lately.

In addition to sending her faithful #CSquad into a frenzy over news that she was working on a new album, she also announced that the fan favorite “Overdose” (from her latest self-titled album) had been elected to be a single.  Then, the icing on the cake (all pun intended), came with reports that she and longtime beau/rapper Future were engaged.

As buzz – both positive and negative – behind the nuptials builds, Cici shared dibs recently on the wedding plans (which are already in effect).  As you check those out below, also get into future hubby Future setting the record straight on the drama that ensued in the past days after Ci took to the net to share some family photos:

Her singles may hit charts like wrecking balls, but her latest album can’t exactly claim the same.  To change that, our favorite Disney damsel turned serial twerker Miley Cyrus is looking to roll her hits ‘Wrecking Ball’ and ‘We Can’t Stop’ to a town near you.

Unveiled just moments ago, the songstress announced a massive North American tour in support of her latest Gold effort ‘Bangerz’.  Set to see her visit everywhere from Toronto and New York to her hometown of Nashville, the tour is set to kick off shortly after the 2013 Grammys on February 14.

Any act as big as Lady GaGa will always generate polarizing views. However, over the course of her meteoric career, the singer has garnered especially intense scrutiny – thanks to her pronounced flare for Pop experiments (see: ‘Born This Way’).

During an interview with Scott Mills on BBC Radio 1 moments ago, the ‘ARTPOP’ maven addressed the seeming desire of the masses to place her in a musical box. One she refuses to enter.

The performer’s interesting response came during an explanation about how she joined forces with R.Kelly for latest single ‘Do What U Want’. In her answer, the singer veered somewhat off-topic, expressing her frustration at the limits critics and even fans place on her on her material.

An insightful read awaits after the jump…

Paging Olivia Pope & Associates!  You are needed for clean-up on aisle 3!

In a time where gospel music permeates mainstream in more ways than ever (see: reality shows, Urban/pop music stylings, secular collabos), what has unfortunately come with some of those breakthroughs are headline-grabbing breakdowns.

Indeed, just weeks after the controversial, hit Oxygen reality series ‘Preachers of L.A.’ rocked television, the show’s star Deitrick Haddon was embroiled in a scandal that saw alleged nude photos of the ‘Have Your Way’ hitmaker hit the net in a big way.

Now, thanks in part to R&B songstress Lil Mo’, gospel star Kevin Terry has set the net ablaze with a viral video of him rocking the mic  with no stage in sight.  The video and accompanying story already had moderate traction, but after the ‘Superwoman’ songstress tweeted about the incident to save her friend, that traction went from buzz to boil…
