Extension of that titling came Monday (December 4) when the emcee, who celebrated his 54th birthday on the same day, learned he received the gifts of multiple new shiny plaques from the Recording Industry Association (RIAA).

This week Swift added yet another milestone to her neverending tally of accomplishments that placed her squarely beside a legendary musical monarch.

Girl Power!

Brit-born beauties Adele and Dua Lipa have had their respective fan bases levitating after the recent pleasantries they shared in the press.

First, Addy – who made headlines this week for being honored with the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award at ‘The Hollywood Reporter’s annual ‘Women in Entertainment’ event on December 7 – also acts as the mag’s most recent cover girl.

In its pages, she not only talked about her next album (the follow-up to 2021’s ‘30‘) but also praised the likes of SZA, Beyonce, and Victoria Monet.  Most notably, she gave a huge shout out to Dua.

“I’m also very excited that Dua is back. When I first ever heard ‘New Rules,’ I remember saying to my manager, ‘Whoa,'” the ‘Rolling in the Deep’ diva shared revealed to ‘THR.’ “I was like, ‘She should be the next big pop girl.’ And she is.”

It’s been over a month since Offset watched his solo sophomore effort, ‘Set It Off,‘ jet to the top 5 of the Billboard 200, but the GRAMMY nominee is far from done hitting the promo trail in its support.

Having already lifted visuals for the LP’s housed cuts ‘Hop Out the Van,’ ‘Say My Grace,’ ‘Jealousy,’ and ‘Fan‘ (as we reported here), he has now gifted fan favorite ‘Blame It On Set’ the video treatment.

“N-ggas still bite my style, they can’t be too upset (Uh-huh) / I done laid low for a while, they can’t be that upset (Hey) / N-ggas lost all my respect, they can’t be that upset (Uh-uh) / N-ggas point fingers at ‘Set, and I ain’t even done nun’ yet,” he relays in the Maya Table-directed clip.

To say 2023 was SZA‘s year is an understatement in itself.

From matching or surpassing the chart stats of legends like Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Janet JacksonMariah Carey, and Mary J. One of two new singles featured on the December 1-released deluxe edition of her latest studio album, ‘Trustfall,’ ‘Fight’ follows the previously released ‘Dreaming‘ featuring Sting and Marshmello.

“I’m all out of fight / My heart will always know your name / I’m all out of love / But look at all the love we made / I’m all out of life / Oh, babe, it’s killing me to say / I’m all out of love, I’m all out of life,” she sings on the Fred Again-produced cut.

On the wings of 2022’s Hot 100-topping ‘Super Freaky Girl’ and 2023’s ‘Last Time I Saw You,’ rapstress Nicki Minaj lifted her long-awaited fifth LP ‘Pink Friday 2′ to chart battle on Friday (December 8).

Boasting guest appearances from Drake, J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, and Future as well as production from big names like Finneas, ATL Jacob, Boi-1da, Murda Beatz, and others, the 22-track opus comes as Minaj’s first studio effort since ‘Queen’ conquered the Billboard 200 in 2018.

And despite an unconventional rollout devoid of the major promotional onslaught afforded its predecessor, ‘Pink Friday 2’ is still managing to prove the naysayers wrong who argued it lacked major buzz ahead of its arrival to digital shelves.
