A, somewhat, bitter Irv Gotti spoke out on Ashanti in an interview with Wendy Williams yesterday (August 30th). The INC president admitted to having an affair with the ‘Only U’ singer…while he was still married. He went on to make sly comments about Ashanti’s now-shelved new single ‘Switch’. Gotti’s outburst seems to stem from his belief that the singer was ‘disloyal’ during the label’s much publicised legal woes a few years back.What an idiot. The affair is hardly shocking – we all know how they were all getting down back then (See: Superhead’s book). He claims to be all about his business, yet he doesn’t seem too smart. Disloyal or not, Ashanti is still signed to the INC (though her album will drop via Universal/Motown) and is their best bet at chart success; I mean I don’t see Ja’s project doing anything. I have NO sympathy for Ashanti, you lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas. She knew he was no good, hell he is sleeping with her and is married. Women need to use their head, men don’t use theirs…we have to look out for OURSELVES.
The fact that she had her past success she should be thankful, she has had more success then REAL SINGERS.

I don’t like Askanki so LOL and for real i agree with the first comment as well, she gets no sympathy for her either, she a ho she knew he was married and he’s a bigger ho to dog his wife,
She is nothing but i studio singer I thought she was alright when she first came out then i heard her sing live WTF and DAMN my ears for real what got me real mad was they were compairing her to Aaliyah yeah i never liked her after that how she got a grammy i don’t know cos she can’t sign for shit, OK i’m done once again LOL

What a loser!! He must be bitter she ain’t messing with his fat ass no more. If it happened so what, him being a grown ass man and a professional in the business should have kept that to himself!! No on really needed to know that. And since she is still signed to his label why put her on blast to hurt her image and possibly hurt her record sales. LEss money for him.
