New Song: Keri Hilson – Energy (Snippet)
Having already enjoyed a very successful year with high profile features on efforts by Usher, Chris Brown and mentor Timbaland, Keri Hilson’s debut ‘In A Perfect World’ looks set to drop within the next few months. A snippet of what appears to be her first single ‘Energy’ (released to iTunes on May 27th) has surfaced. Unlike Keri’s material heard thus far, I’m not entirely sold on this. Though by no means poor, the song sounds doesn’t really offer anything new in comparison to a lot of what dominates the radio at present and does little to separate Keri from the masses. Still, I’m real optimistic about Keri delivering with the album.Hit or Miss?

I LUV it!!!!! Sometimes when u hear a snipet u get like “hmm…i don’t know…i think i need to listen the full song…” Well…with this one i just think “I gotta listen to the full song right now!!!” it sounds sooo good! I can’t wait for her album!

keri hilson is gonna be one of those artist that cant stand up alone in the business, i mean, she will be a christina milian, she will be featured in plenty of songs but she will never have a hit by herself, and this song proves that

It sounds like something Nicole Scherzinger would’ve sung…. and we all know what happened to that album! Not really feeling it or Keri either, i find her vocals nothing special. I like the song with her and Chris Brown because its a nice song (i can’t stand Chris either) Not really anything positive to say.

What happened to the much buzzed about ‘Return the Favor’ with Timbaland?
At this rate, Keri’s whole album will have already made its way on to the internet by the time it’s released.

Wow..This is definitely a pop song, and I feel like I’ve heard this before..I expected much better from Keri since her vocal style is so unique, but maybe I just need to hear the whole song..

She Just released a snippet of the cancelled first single called Return The Favor feat. Timbaland, The song is a masterpiece. It really shows why she WILL stand out in the Music work. Go listen to it and You’ll see what I mean
