Published: Thursday 18th Nov 2010 by Trent

Ne-Yo’s new album, ‘Libra Scale’, may have already been released in most territories but the album won’t hit stores in the US until November 22nd. The singer/songwriter took the time to remind people of the project by performing his new single, ‘One In A Million’, on ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’.

Check out Ne-Yo’s performance of the song below:

    WOW! What an AWESOME performance.

I may rag on Ne-Yo at times, but I have to say, this is like my favorite song to see Ne-Yo perform. He did a good job on DWTS, but I this was even better because of the LIVE BAND. I freaking LOVE live bands! They added so much life into the song and performance, especially the chorus part. I get chills when I hear good live performances with live bands. Not to mention, his voice was on point even while dancing. I ain’t no die-hard Ne-yo fan, but I don’t know, I’m just a “performance” type of person. If an artist can perform well, then I’m sold. And Ne-yo ALWAYS brings it on the performance tip, and he doesn’t even have amazing vocals or dance skills. He has a great balance and pretty good stage presence.

    Good job, Ne-yo.

I like the song and Ne-Yo is a good performer.

But I like it when people show being influenced by Michael Jackson, not straight copy him.

And he’ll always be a gay duck. The sooner he accepts it the better.

This was a great performance. Everything seemed balanced in my opinion: vocals, choreography, the girl, and band. Good job Ne-Yo. This was better than his performance on Dancing With The Stars.

I know I’ve been hard on She-Yo mainly because she is always bitching about one thing or another, but this is the 2nd song from Libra Scale that I really like! He did a great job on the FAKE, PLASTIC David Letterman Show.

*He so wishes he could kick Usher down a flight of stairs so he can be declared the new, next Michael Jackson! LOL 🙂

great performance and i like the song. Someone needs to go run dell Ursher that’s howto dance and perform without being winded

    Sharp performance! Totally on point.

    @ Amazing.Lee:

Me too! Performance skills is always how I judge an artist’s ability. If you suck live, then I’m not gonna buy your music, no matter how good it is. And DJs and backing tracks are quite overrated, time to get back to live backing bands.

I liked his performances more during “Year of the Gentleman”, but I’m still very eager to see him in concert again.

  17. BENJAMIN November 19, 2010

I liked the performance, but I would really like for Neyo to drop the MJ swagger and do something different, it’s getting a bit too much.
