Pop minx Aubrey O’ Day is looking to make a splash on the charts with her debut solo project. The former Danity Kane singer is reportedly set to release ‘Automatic’ as the official buzz offering from her as yet untitled first studio album – due next year.

Though some may dismiss the song as yet more generic Electro-Pop, its infectious hook and O’Day’s delivery through-out do just enough to redeem it from any such label. Great re-introduction to sassy songstress. Good stuff.

I agree with what Phard says.. it’s reminiscent of Sweet 7 Sugababes. LIke a mix of Get S*** and She’s a Mess.
She still trying to do this whole singing thing huh? Well this sounds like alot of stuff out now ( she actually sounds like J-Lo to me a bit in the chorus and bridge). Singing is NOT her strong point, but she does know how to perform, that’s why she was a visual centerpiece of DK but not the lead vocalist. If she had really had a voice she would have been the lead singer.
Well i guess i should wish her good luck, she is tenacious and has the desire to be a star, which could be good or bad. Hopefully she’s a bit more grounded this time around, never liked her personaity but respected her hustle-kinda.

I absolutely love this song. My “dance fabric” usually works well with beats like this especially the way the beat rides with the chorus.
I thought this was pretty good and I’m not a fan of everyone doing electro – pop these days. I guess some do it better than others. Aubrey has more to look out for , I’m sure! I will be checking her out.
