Usher is mediocre now. What a sell out. He’s the new ke$ha. He cant dance anymore and his singing is craptastic. That’s why he’s doing the auto-tune poptart s*** now. Easier sales and you can lip sync not like back in the day with real performers. He was good 10yrs ago. What happened??

This show was a mess! The French do a really good job shutting out any Afro-French or Black French speaking artists because there were none there! The show suffered because of it. They only allow American entertainers of color. What a shame! Thank god for Shakira and Usher. BEP is …. a mess.

Shakira DID NOT STEAL That song. She sampled it. Since the song came out she has always stated where its from. There are interviews to prove it where she says the song is originally from Cameroon. Don’t try it!

I find Shakira to be boring, because it is always the same thing for an entertainer of her caliber. With that being said, she nails belly dancing like crazy. Her moves are like a Cobra’s.
Have to say… Shakira outshone Usher here. In vocals, live performance, and audience interaction she was better.

@MISHKA I agree..This waka waka was like an army song when I was growin up (I m from Cameroon) and I heard the b**** say she wrote it I had respect for her but after that I was disappointed…smh

Shakira is the best. She had the best performance of the night and she is one of the best performers out there. Unfortunately, she has been so underrated for a while, mainly in US. And it doesn’t surprise me ’cause she isn’t doing euro-s***-dance music like everybody else.
Usher is great too. I don’t blame him for the direction he has taken in his career. R&B music doesn’t sell album no more, we aren’t in 2004. If an artist wants to keep his image relevant must need to release europop songs. That how the industry has been working! These kinda song are what the public and the radios are consuming.
Black Eyed Peas is a joke. What a f****** awful performance! I always knew they aren’t great live, but that one is pretty bad. And that ridiculous dance that asian dude was doing? Awkward. If you can’t dance, don’t even try it!

It’s confusing with Shakira. She has a huge international fanbase and was huge in the US. Then she made a dance electro album (She Wolf) and that flopped but then going back to her roots on Sale El Sol flopped in the US too. I don’t know what the US wants from her…

Usher: Even though this wasn’t his best live performance, I think he did pretty well (considering that he is recovering from an illness).
Shakira was awesome. Its funny how she’s been in the industry for some time now and she is still an underated artitst.

Shakira sucked as usual. She is not able to write a song so she stole samples/whatever you want to call it, SHE STOLE MUSIC, it’s so pathetic. Now her career is going down due the fact that her latest two albums were complete flops in the States
