Jennifer Hudson has been booking appearances all across the States in support of her first book ‘I Got This’. Debuting this week (January 10), the soon-to-be Mrs. Otunga has been on the run all week long for book signings, interviews, and the like. The past week alone has seen her lend her looks to multiple magazine covers and dropping by ‘Dateline’, ‘Dr. Oz’, 106 & Park, ‘The Today Show’, and more.
And, as if she hasn’t racked up enough promo points for the memoir, Hudson can now be seen visiting Access Hollywood. Despite covering her regular range of topics, the hitmaker also spoke candidly about her desire to have a little girl and her surprising decline of the lead role for the Academy Award nominated ‘Precious’. Though reports originally claimed the singer turned down the role due to its ‘weight requirement’, Jennifer offers the real reason why she didn’t tackle the portrayal.

And like I said before , she did GREAT in Dreamgirls, but everything she has been in, she sucked. She would have def f**k’d that role up.
BTW, shes looking really good.
I am glad she is comfortable in her skin since her weight loss. But can we move onto something new the next album or movie ect. Everything with her is becoming a broken record and old very fast.
I just don’t know what Jennifer Hudson is going to do after everyone is sick of hearing about her weight loss (if they’re not already)? She has a hell of a voice and I’m glad she’s healthier now but the music she’s released so far hasn’t been great imo, and there are so many more actresses around age 30 who are both more beautiful and more talented. I’m not even trying to be harsh, I actually do like her… I really just don’t see where she goes after this.
Jhud is a broken record. She’s not a very artistic or creative person. Just like her Idol days. She only got the oscar cause of her singing ability in Dream Girls, not her acting. All her other roles since have been crap. Her unrealistic accent in winnie mandela story was tragic at best. She’s not a songwriter or musician. Her act is getting old fast. Doesnt have a very good stage presence and still speaks like she lives in the ghetto. SMH.
