Advices to Kat DeLuna to get herself together:
FIRST: MUSIC
1- Work with somebody very new, young, fresh and hot like Calvin Harris. You are a club artist, and you’re MUCH MORE Calvin than Rihanna. Don’t worry about being a little bit bitch this time to “steal” Calvin from Rihanna because.. know what? go back to that “Animal” song.
Ay Ay Ay Ay Ay / Life is like a jungle / Are you brave enough to walk in it? .. Are you wild and dirty like an Animal .. Make a MESS like an Animal.
2- When you record a song, try to put AALLL the energy you got in it.
3- Being 2:41-long is MUCH better than being filled with lame “Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh (Hey!)” trash. Unless you do it sweaty and sexy like “Everybody Dance”.
Ow WoW WoW. Yeah Yeah Yeah. This’s how we PAAARTYYYY! I almost came in my sweaty boxers.
4- Don’t stop them crunchie, babyblue and light songs. Don’t start to sing trash like “I Had a Dream” with that hoe again.
5- Old, un-used, red-n-blue TNTs like “My Number One Lady” and “Shake It Up” and “How We Roll” and “Dale Duro” (i can never stop – over 70). Revive them. Re-record them with a great rapper like Flo Rida, Lil Wayne or T-Pain. You’re a big shit now after that stregnth you showed in “Drop It Low”, and you don’t have to let anything let you down. Know what’s Beyonce’s success coming from??
6- Shut them UP, motherfuckers who say you can’t sing. Katy Perry would gag on a first-time black dick trying to do it like “The Last Time”. Show them your rap skills, (you burned my ass with “Cry OK”). Show them your nigga skills (“Put It On” SLAYES).
SECOND: MUSIC VIDEOS
1- Work with real directors like Melina. Don’t let your videos be so lame like “Dancing Tonight”. Do it like a matter of fact. There’s nothing sexier than some hot black studs, with hard-ass fashion, doing a killer Hip-Hop dance with Kat DeLuna, in a hard-ass club, or some ghetto. But know how to show it off. With “Dancing Tonight” and some parts of “Drop It Low” video, those guys were shaking their booties, and it looked like the video was produced with Windows XP Movie Maker, or something.
2- Don’t change your hair. Keep that tropical, fresh Latin hair on. (Sometimes even Beyo looks horrible with her black hair). And keep showing your fashion skills as a promotion to “Kat’s Closet” (when you have a good number of fans, like 10mill@least). And show them abs and new muscles, Damn!
3- You don’t have to do all-dance videos. Matter of fact, “Muevete Muevete” diserves a beach-vibe video. “All in My Head”, a UK rainy-day video.
THIRD: WORK
1- Try not to let your songs leak online.
2- Premier your singles on ALL OFFICIAL RADIO CHANNELS, and VERY SOON, premier their music videos on MTV or VH! instead of Never-Heared-Of-It.com
3- Let Lunatics help you choosing a smart-ass tracklisting for your albums. Also.. ask them to help you choosing the next single, and add some ideas to it. We’re Kat DeLuna fans, and if we decide to do something, we can make it really beautiful and creative.
4- Try to build a fan-base in the UK and Australia.
5- Release songs like “Muevete Muevete” as a single in EastEU+LatinAmerica, and “Calling You”, “Rock The House” and “Like We Famous/Oh Yeah (La La La)/Everybody Dance” for WW release. Because they could be motherfucking smash hits, and they can raise your giga-flop-selling album from 1 to 10.
6- NEVER think that you have to “follow what’s hot right now”. Sometimes you do the wave.
