Mary J. Blige Blows ‘Idol’ Away With ‘Why?’

Queen of Hip Hop Soul Mary J. Blige graced the ‘Idol’ stage moments ago with her regal talent, lending a live rendition of the Rick Ross-assisted cut ‘Why’.  Lifted from her latest album ‘My Life 2’, Blige guested tonight and last night’s Whitney Houston/Stevie Wonder themed episode of the hit reality talent show, coaching the superstar hopefuls in their performances of ‘I Will Always Love You’, ‘I’m Your Baby Tonight’, ‘Superstition’, and more.

After imparting advice last night, the R&B vet took to the stage tonight to show ’em how it’s done.  Get into the action below:

    Sorry, not a fan of Idol,honestly I can’t stand that show, the only reason I watched a bit of it was because I heard Mary was on there tonight to perform. She did good.

    Why is Sam not noting that the album surpassed the 500k after 3 months (Went Gold) without REAL radio support ? It would be nice to tell people about it 😉
