Brandy may have just dropped the video for new single ‘Put It Down’, but that hasn’t stopped the R&B star from oiling up the wheels for its follow-up.

During an interview with our friends over at Brandy Source this week, the 33 year old revealed that the second single to be lifted from her ‘Two Eleven’ LP is titled…
‘Wildest Dreams’
Elaborating on the cut, the songbird described ‘Dreams’ as boasting a “hard, 90′s beat with a Mary J. Blige knock”, referencing Mary and Method Man‘s remake of ‘You’re All I Need To Get By‘ as a track which captures the same sound.

Needless to say, B-Rocka sounds like she’s playing no games this go round. Here’s hoping ‘Two Eleven’ delivers when it arrives in stores on October 16th, because the signs – at present – are looking oh so good.

I’m so glad she’s planning to release one more single. I like ‘Put It Down’ and it’s doing well, but she needed one more song to convince people to buy her album.
I’m excited, definitely. It sounds like a mid-tempo and Brandy always excells in that sound. Maybe she’s going to bring some of that old school sound of ‘Never Say Never’. Some of her best songs are on that album, like ‘Happy’ and ‘Angel In Disguise’. I hope her new single lives up to the standards of these tracks

I’m glad she’s deciding to move forward and release another single. Put it Down should’ve been deemed a promo single only. The video hasn’t helped the single much either…Can’t wait to hear this new single though.

I think the video has… In a week it jumped from 66 to 22 or the R&B charts… so it’s doing a little well since the release of the Video…. hoepfully it will be a TOP 10 Single at best.

Actually the song reached number 22 on the r&b charts before the video was ever released… The charts this week will tell us the impact of the video.,,,it was doing well already so hopefully the video pushed it up even further!!!

You got issues, for real. Who comes at someone like that when their tone was completely calm? Therapy is what you should be researching. Anyway, the song hasn’t made it on the most IMPORTANT chart of all and that’s the Hot 100. The R&B chart is a sub-chart that only represents the small urban market. Now until it’s on the Hot 100, the single isn’t a hit.

If she makes it in the top 20 r&B, than she should at least impact the hot 100…Usually the top 20 does….@onika i think everyone just wants her to do well so they choose to focus on the good things that are happening instead pointing out what would be considered not good….we shouldnt attack one another…just support brandy if thats what were here to do.

I was very disappointed with “Put It Down” but I am more than excited for the next single, especially the way she has described its sound! “You’re All I Need To Get By” is such a great 90′s R&B track so I’m eager to hear “Wildest Dreams.” Is the picture on this post a promotional shot for her album or is it from a different photoshoot? She looks stunning in that shot!!!
