Next Thursday brings with it JoJo‘s 22nd birthday, yet also ushers in a special gift for the her fans – new mixtape ‘Agape’.
Deemed a labour of love, the 13 track set (which will be released as a free download) is preceded by ‘We Get By’ and ‘Andre’.
Now, with its December 20th arrival fast approaching, the vocal powerhouse has unwrapped the project’s tracklisting on Instagram.

That Grape Juice can also confirm that JoJo’s episode on The Splash will begin rolling out at the top of next week. Your song choice votes were tallied up and will be revealed when the performances debut. What we can say in the here and now is that the performances have to be seen to be believed. Incredible!

I can’t wait to hear Agape! I’ve been pleasant pleased with everything I’ve heard thus far. JoJo’s vocal/writing talent CANNOT be denied. The girl is just SICK with her vocals! I wish she had a better record label situation… Isn’t Tank also signed to Blackground? Why is he album to release albums but she isn’t?

She is signed to a shitty, broke label that is depending on Aaliyah’s posthumous album to bring in some cash. JoJo could’ve slayed with “Demonstrate”. She shot a video for it and everything, but once again her label dropped the ball. So sad.
I wouldn’t even call JoJo a bigger flop than Ciara. JoJo didn’t have two flop albums back to back. If she were album to release singles & albums, they would’ve been way more successful than Ciara’s garbage.

I think (and desperately hope) 2013 will be a big year for Ms. JoJo. Her most recent songs have been FIYAH. I’m definitely a JoJo stan in the making. Let’s hope Agape delivers.

It is so sad to see what her label has done to her carrer. Why don’t they just release her album already? She’s a talented girl and could have been a superstar if she has released her third album in 2007 or 2008.

People, it’s her damn label. It’s not that she’s not marketable or profitable but because she has a shady ass label who keeps falling through on her.
There are still a few good artists who don’t want to be the next Katy Perry, or have the string of #1 hits like Rihanna…
