Speaking of the album; after somewhat of a shaky start, the set looks poised to rise on the Billboard 200 next week, shifting another 60,000 copies – or thereabout. A fact, no doubt, attributable to the “no stage untouched” campaign she and her team have embarked on. A campaign which’ll have to power on full-speed if it’s to weather the so-so sales climate the industry is in.

Nice interview, in which Alicia came across once again as friendly and funny. She was very comfortable during the interview and gave a great performance! Sam, I’m not worried about Alicia’s sales, she could sell only one copy and I’d still love her. And seeing who’s # 1 ( country pop artist Taylor), this only reflects the truth of the current music industry.
I hate her hair. She is simply not thrilling me at all this go around. Come on Alicia girl, give me something to root for!

“poised to rise”??? How can something rise to a lower position? Had to call Sam out since he has a problem telling it how it is or facing facts for some artists.
I loved this performance on the View today. It was also fun to hear what she had to say about the making of this album. So far it’s a favorite of mine. My DISH coworker first told me she would be on the show, so I knew I would be tuning in. I watched it on my DISH Hopper, in multiple rooms. I was decorating my house when it aired but was able to start watching it on my living room TV and then continue watching on my kitchen TV right where I left off. This made decorating much more fun!
Love this interview. Alicia is so personable and “normal”. Anyone can relate to her. Love to hear her speak about her son and the fact she absolutely seems to adore him is so sweet. He is one lucky little guy. The performance was also beautiful and her hair? It wouldn’t even matter if she had hair at all. This lady has such a beautiful soul, who cares about the hair, even though I must say she is gorgeous no matter if it’s long or short. I’m loving it here.

I can´t get over the fact this song is so amazing. It has something so special. Hope her album continues to sell in the long run. Bruno just exceeded expectations in his first week. I know true talent remains in the end
