@ Alex I agree… this is not the way I would have liked to remember Destiny’s Child. No shade… but the song is horrible! The song is basically all Beyonce, Kelly harmonies then Michelle at the end! It’s terrible! I would like to see them perform together again but another album I don’t really care too much for it…. they were good back then and I will always like them as a group better then either of them being solo. I am looking forward to all of their solo projects this year but I’m really looking forward to Kelly’s new album and new sitcom on BET. I ready for something different!

I like Kelly’s part and when she brings in her harmonies, but other than that, the song is dry. It’s lacking that magic that the girl’s usually bring. To me it didnt sound like Destiny’s Child but rather Beyonce Ft Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. Yep, Destiny’s Child is no more. But their legacy still stands.
P.S I still don’t understand how on the Survivor album, they had a song that said Ft. Beyonce?! How?

I mean this is an unheard song for a reason, it didn’t make the cut. I think its just good ol’ Matthew just trying to collect money from this (rejected) song and make an album filled with turned down, “never heard before”, etc songs to put some coins in his pocket and for his child support. I don’t think Kelly, Michelle, and Beyonce are going to record a new album nor are they going to preform them….this is kinda like their “never heard songs before” album and not anything recorded recently. As much as I love Destiny’s Child, this sounds like ‘album filler’. This seems like a money making ploy putting out already exsisting tracks when they’ve had the no.1 hits album out already – It wouldn’t cost people much to buy any of the old albums so this seems like a marketing ploy cuz this is not a big club banger or massive comeback single. If it was then we’d have something to rave about. Its easy on the ears but not a stand out track as if it was Independent Women or Loose My Breath.
A long awaited comeback with an actual NEW ALBUM is likely not to be anywhere in the new future given Beyonce is coming back with new music and Michelle and Kelly have projects of their own but it is however wishful thinking… In the meantime… I’m waiting on what Queen B has to offer us with this new album!

So…. It took them 8 years to release this bullshit??? It was beyond whack. Leftover track. Album Filler. Whatever you want to call it.
Beyonce does all the backgrounds and most of the leads. Kelly comes in with a little pre chorus part and poor Michelle still stuck on that 5 second bridge. This is disappointing because I really was looking forward to them comin’ back with some bomb music.
THEN add to that the rest of the new “album” is stuff we been heard? A low budget mix tape with a leftover track.
If they want to wow us they need to do like the end of dream girls and bring Effie (TOYA AND TAVIA) on stage with them.

It’s almost hard to believe that this was recorded during the Destiny Fulfilled sessions. Musically, it really sounds like something from their first album. But vocally you can tell it’s more recent because Michelle is on it and because Beyonce herself sounds more polished than she did in ’97.

It has a laid back type of rhythm and blues feel to it and it definitely has a dance type of feel to it at the same time but not overtly corny like the euro dance pop of today so that’s a good thing. It definitely has a hypnotic relaxing quality to it. I think It’s okay. But not epic. I just hope this is not any indication of what bey’s new song will sound like. I’m curious to see what DC does with this live. Cuz if the performance is good it might help the song chart.

DC aren’t coming back. Sony and Mathew are releasing a Destiny’s Child compilation album for the Valentine’s Day. The album has songs from their studio albums, unreleased tracks and ‘Nuclear’. The album isn’t even released by Columbia Records (aka DC and Beyoncé’s label), it’s released by Legacy Records which releases this kind of thing for Sony.
‘Nuclear’ was written by Michelle Williams and produced by Pharrell. NO! IT IS NOT A SINGLE!

It will probably not be likeable to the masses cuz ppl don’t like slow r&b these days but it’s definitely a grower. Unfortunately by the time ppl like it there will probably be other songs filling ppl’s heads that are new. This will be kinda overlooked in the long run. Btw, I hate Michele’s voice. So ugly. She’s definitely a backup singer and church singer. Kelly is a close second but at least I like her solo material better. Beyonce made the harmonies nice. The beginning sounded like heaven then somewhere in the middle I felt like snoozing. Just being real. The song sounds like something Janet Jackson’s whispering ass would sing tho. No shade to Janet. It’s just that I guess we are not use to hearing DC singing songs like this. I guess more uptempo sass comes to mind when u think of DC. I guess that’s mainly why ppl are iffy about it. But come on ppl. Lots of artists record songs that are not made releasable so nine times out of ten ur favorite artist has a song that u r not going to like and even my favorites. Aaliyah, Michael Jackson, Whitney. All of them.

Sounds unfinished or they (as in the label) took the vocals from one songs and tried to put it on another beat. Bey, Kelly nor Michelle will support this album. This is as bad as the Aaliyah/Drake song and that hurt me to say cause I’m a HUGE Aaliyah fan, but if it’s not finished or is unreleased cause it wasn’t good then, don’t bring it out now. Labels always do this and they’re not fooling anyone, just like with MJ, HW, Aaliyah and many many more.

Because I love me some DC, DC2, DC3, DC4 period! I love Destiny’s Child point blank so I like the track to add to my collection of hits. And it’s good as a longtime fan to hear something new from them. Yes in comparison to their long list of hits, standout tracks, and fan favorites this is kind of sub-par. Honestly just from listening to the track it sounds like it came from the Destiny Fulfilled era and may have been a leftover track. And producers may have just came in and mastered the track with Bey maybe adding some additional backing vocals. Nevertheless, its good to see something come out from them after all these years of rumors and its finally something official. I do believe this is however the last piece for their contract with Columbia. DC3 was big and what a better way than to end it on a high note like they did years ago.

I really hate comparissons but I love objective critics not those ” I’m obviously a fan ” critics. I know somewhat about marketing and advertising and I can tell you that most people don’t have a clue how far the music and any industry would go to sell albums or any product. From creating stories about one getting hit by her boyfriend and then putting them back together to having to show yourself completely naked in each cd . As far as I´ve noticed Rihanna and Beyonce are very different. Their roads are different . By the way , no one said its the first single. Some records need up to 50 songs recorded to finally come down to an album of just 12 tracks. Managers and producers study voices and choose songs with the right keys for each artist . Take for instance Britney , whose voice is many times a reason to make fun but, then her songs are always hits… Why? Because her team knows how to choose the right songs that suit her voice and image. Then we have Christina whose voice is almost always flattered but then never purchased by anyone.
