The X Factor 2013: Eliminations (Week 8)

Published: Sunday 1st Dec 2013 by Sam

The X Factor 2013 (UK) saw its 8th set of eliminations tonight. Find out who’s heading home this week after the jump…

Contestants Tamera Foster and Luke Friend were revealed as the acts who polled lowest in the public vote this week. Both would go on to battle it out in the sing-off, with Foster taking on Christina Aguilera’s ‘The Voice Within’. Friend followed with Snow Patrol’s ‘Run’.

When the judges couldn’t come to a majority decision, the vote was put back to the public – with Tamera being revealed as the act who polled lowest. She, therefore, was announced as the eighth singer to leave the competition.

The X Factor continues on ITV1 next Saturday.
