Report: Justin Timberlake’s New Album Will “Push Boundaries” / Singer Plotting Tour

Published: Friday 29th Dec 2017 by Sam

As we reported, Justin Timberlake‘s new album is due imminently.

And now more details, from those close to the project, are beginning to emerge.

Full story below…

Citing a close source, Rolling Stone say they’ve been told that the follow-up to 2013’s ’20/20 Experience’ “pushes boundaries in ways you don’t expect. It’s gonna have a lot of hits.”

Of course, that’s subjective. But what apparently is confirmed is that the set – rumored to be titled ‘Man Of The Woods’ – will feature a collaboration with Country singer Chris Stapleton.

JT is also said to be mapping out an arena tour in support of the album, which is little surprise given the $230 million total gross of his last live outing.

Needless to say, this all sets quite the stage for his headlining gig at the Super Bowl 2018 Halftime Show.

Ever since Beyonce self titled it seems like everyone claims their album will push boundaries and what not.

What does “push boundaries” mean??? Try to distinct his singing voice from Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes and Justin Bieber??? Not rely on Black music producers to give him an “urban sound” on the new album??? Figure out a new payola scheme to make sure the album has “lots of hits”??? Distinguishing himself from sounding like a Michael Jackson wannabe for once??? Asking for a friend

Release an album without Timbaland or Pharrell. Then we will see how he will push these so called boundaries. Sick of this culture vampire!

Mad at what you racist queen! I’m not even the biggest Beyoncé fan, but I will admit she pushed boundaries with Lemonade, especially with the visual for Formation, yet she was criticized by white America for it. The Grammy Awards used her star power to draw in views by all the nominations they gave her and having her perform, then to shun her with the major awards and award Adele with the music that puts you right to sleep. Watch they nominate this white opportunist at next years ceremony and hand him the major awards. Isn’t he the same one who declined to perform at the Grammys because his 20/20 experience album didn’t get nominated in the major categories? Let that had been an artist of color to pull a stunt like that, and they would be blackballed. More importantly, when are they going to ban your racist rat ? a$$ off here??? ??‍♂️

Sis what star power to push views? If I remember correctly that was the lowest view Grammy awards in 10 years

      • Angelia December 29, 2017

Jt wrote formation and if you play SB you aren’t allowed to do Grammy’s don’t believe gossip

Keep dreaming S******. Justina does not want homeless trash like you who uses the free computer at the library to get online. Justina is looking for a top with money and not some diseased trashy bottom with no walls like you are.

Same big story they told when NSYNC did that “Pop” record or whatever it was called. It’s one of their lowest performing singles.

Same thing they said about Britney’s ‘Hold It Against Me’ video and look how that turned out. Maybe he isn’t going for artistic growth – but I can’t see how this is going to be so radically different and ‘boundary pushing’. Unless, they mean a mainstream ‘Pop’ and ‘Urban’ singer doing Country music. In which case it’s just another marketing angle to target a lucrative market now he can’t pull off urban as authentic anymore.

Of course he’ll do a tour, will his fans purchase his music like they do all the other Caucasian peers he’s against hmm who knows?!!

  9. Tori December 29, 2017

…all i can think off is his singing trap music. Or stealing Miguel sound.

  10. Theman December 29, 2017

Beyoncé pushed boundaries visually as far as ‘Lemonade’ goes. She played with a few different sounds. But Adele’s album still… >… He’s not saying this. Music folks are…

    The Beyonce effects…

  12. Fancy BISH December 29, 2017

  13. Jamie December 29, 2017

Don’t believe the hype. Justin is incapable of phishing any boundaries. Wtf does this pale, non-singing jerk have to talk about? Nothing!!!

  14. Video December 29, 2017

He is ugly as fk ?

  15. Jasmine December 29, 2017

    His nose is hideous

I do wonder what he going to do this era, clinging to Timbaland was played out on the last album, I’m surprised he got through since EDM was the thing then. But it’s a new ballpark, with Ed, Shaw, Bieber and those One Direction kids, male pop is becoming overdone as well, like how female pop was in 2017 (or pop in general). He doesn’t stand out anymore, his edge was the white pop boy with a R&B edge. We’ll see, but it’ll be like with Usher when Chris Brown and other R&B males came along, making it harder for Usher.

I mean he’s already exploited black culture, what else is new?? Maybe he’ll spit bars…no matter what his white washed audience will eat it up. I’d rather support more credible artist, hi Bruno, hi Miguel?
