Now more than five years since the release of her debut album, it is safe to say that Cassie‘s career has been centred around everything but the music.
However, fans of the Bad Boy performer will be pleased to know that may just be about to change with the surfacing of a snippet for her new song, ‘King Of Hearts‘.
The release has been confirmed to be lifted from her upcoming LP, which is due in coming months.

Now, Bad Boy has invited to preview all of the offerings on the project. With entries from many up-and-comers on its roster including Red Cafe, Cassie, and Machine Gun Kelly, Diddy and DJ Prostyle have joined forces to showcase the latest from the label.

Lifted from the ‘Bad Boy PRESENTS The Preview‘ mixtape , the effort features the Rapper Fabolous and precedes the entertainer’s upcoming LP due out in coming months.

Is model-with-a-mic Cassie cooking up a comeback? If her interview with Status magazine is any indication, the answer is a disappointing definite yes. Gracing the mag’s latest cover, the vocal less vocalist is said to be preparing ‘Elecro Love’, the follow-up to her 2006 self-titled debut. Though said to be in production since 2007, the album is finally being prepped for release sometime later this year.

Though she hasn’t released an album since before we knew what a Lady GaGa was, Cassie‘s name has still remained a hot topic on the lips of Pop spectators far and wide.

The entire Bad Boy team including Diddy-Dirty Money, Rick Ross, Janelle Monae and a model named Cassie has taken over the cover of the latest issue of VIBE magazine. Diddy took the time to explain the August/September edition and the fact that his long-awaited (and almost forgotten) album, ‘Last Train To Paris’, has been pushed back again to October. Video model Cassie has been working on her new album ‘Electro Love’ for quite some time. Emerging from those studio session is a track entitled ‘F*ck You Silly’ which features rapper Nicki Minaj. Diddy’s ‘special friend’ will be releasing the album later this year.
The beat goes hard on this track but that is its only selling point. How did this girl manage to get a record contract? She is literally speaking her way through the song. Scratch that, we all know how she got and kept her record deal.
