Despite Sam and Trents hate of Rihanna, and constant downplaying of her album, Rated R is really a great album. Great lyrics, and her vocals really deliver on the tracks. So that being said, ppl stopping judging with your eyes and really listen to the music that’s being put out there. Learn to look for quality work. Te Amo is a beautiful track and I can’t wait to see the video for it but I really wish she would have dropped Firebomb. Now that song is amazing.

These debates about sales kill me. No one knows exact numbers. They expect her to eventually reach platinum, so she’s certified platinum right now. That usually means somewhere between 750,000-850,000. The exact numbers no one really knows. That’s what that certification is about, an expectation to reach platinum and nothing else.
Remember when albums used to go diamond? Like 10 times platinum, a la Britney Spears? It’s almost impossible to do that now.
