posting on a celeb is no indication of whether or not they’re has-beens. britney is definitely a has-been when it comes to talent. she has zero, zelch, none nada, all she has is the blindly loyal love of hard-core fans and her status as media sweetheart.

then they went after adam levine saying he was irrelevant and mocked him for having 2 million tweeter followers. sounds like maybe the britney camp has gone political. so adam might be trying to cover his ass with his contestant’s nod to britney.
there’s no doubt there’s goin’ to be a lot of britney amping the closer it gets to christina’s cd release.

be honest, if anyone else had put on the horrific performance she put out at the 2007 vmas, followed up with lame sales like her cd ‘blackout’ (which took 2 years to go platinum) and finally ventured on a tour that even the media had to admit was somewhat atrocious; they would have been kicked to the gutters of the industry.
like is said britney survives now because of fan loyalty which translates to her selling less than a million copies of ‘femme fatale’ and coming in #11 in concert sales for 2011. i repeat, also because of the love and image building hype of the media whose minds also still dwell in the era of the p**-tailed britney wearing the short plaid skirt and shirt tied at the waist.
