Given the pronounced promo push behind Lady GaGa‘s ‘ARTPOP’ LP of late, one would be forgiven for forgetting that the project actually arrived last November.
Indeed, recent weeks have brought with it an epic new video, iTunes banners, and TV interviews aplenty.
Now, it has been announced that Mother Monster will again assert her presence – this time with help from MTV and Logo.
As per a new press release, it has been revealed that the singer will “take over” the Viacom networks tomorrow (April 4th) to promote her upcoming tour and recently wrapped show at New York’s Roseland Ballroom.
With the iconic venue et to close its doors for good on April 7th, the multi-channel special will focus on prep for her sell-out run.
Peep excerpts from statement below…
Throughout the entire day, Lady Gaga will regularly break into programming on MTV, MTV Hits and Logo TV. Currently in the midst her seven night sold-out residency to mark the closure, Gaga will be joined by MTV News’ Sway Calloway to give fans unprecedented access including behind the scenes footage of show rehearsals, an exclusive tour of her apartment, and a look at some of her collection art sent in from Little Monsters. Additionally, fans will be able to check out the exclusive content via her MTV Artist page (LadyGaga.MTV.com), as well MTV and Logo’s various social channels.
Viewers will also hear news about Lady Gaga’s upcoming worldwide tour “artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball” which kicks off in Florida on May 4th, 2014 and just had an additional 6 dates added to accommodate sales. In addition to the tour, gaga will discuss her current single, G.U.Y., the third released from her latest album ARTPOP.

Whether it “works” in the commercial sense (see: sales and public favour) remains to be seen. For us, though, GaGa is “winning” on the merit that she’s not allowing perceived “losing” to hold her down. She’s booking stages globally, promoting her behind off, and still serving up videos her rivals fast and pray to best.
