Well… I’ve been very impressed by her so far…. If she makes a fan out of me, it AINT MY FAULT

    • Tim Brown September 2, 2016

      She’s a star! Go Zara! ❤️

  2. #JACKIE September 2, 2016

    Watch out Rihanna!

    • Ughhhh September 2, 2016

Watch out? Why when there is plenty of room… stop being petty. You don’t wear it well. Especially as someone whose Stan promotes positivity and cheers for women in music

  3. Auntie_Jackie September 2, 2016

Heck no. I see how this could be a hit, but it’s trying way too hard for me – unless she can convince with a great performance. I hear no true swag. I don’t believe her.

    • Everyone’s A Critic September 2, 2016

I hear you! But she’s clearly a pop artist that will make music that corresponds with the sound of the moment. All her singles sound like they can be from different artists

      • Auntie_Jackie September 2, 2016

        Good point!

  4. Royalty September 2, 2016

Those white girls trying to go urban…. Tiring.

    • Jay-Z the Illuminati Kingpin September 2, 2016

      Oh please grow up

      • Danzou September 2, 2016

No h** YOU grow up. White people always sticking they nose in someone else’s culture and you know it so shut up.

    • Danzou September 2, 2016

@royalty I agree it’s tiring as hell but honestly I took a history of rock and roll class in college and come to find out black people created nearly every genre on American music not just urban. You’re absolutely right this is nothing new they were stealing back then too when we weren’t able to promote because of segregation laws. They would perform our craft in states that we weren’t allowed in. The only music we didn’t create is some country and some folk music as well as sacred and secular sheet music.

    • Sam September 2, 2016

      exhausting even.

  5. S****** Blonde September 2, 2016

She has the looks and attitude to be an international pop star but her music doesn’t stand out from the rest, it’s just the same generic beat, a strange case, since Swedes makes the best Pop music in the world, see, ABBA, Roxette, Ace of Base, The Cardigans, Robyn, etc….So she doesn’t have nothing new to offer even here in Sweden, her beauty isn’t impressive, almost all Swedes have blonde hair and blue eyes so she’s just a regular b**** here, on top of that, she sounds just like Rihanna ? and to be honest I don’t think the world want or need another female pop star right now, we are saturated with female pop singers.

If you’re going to say Sweden makes the best pop stars, then you need to name some well known pop stars from there. It’s cool tl have pride in your country, but to full on lie is never cute. Lol

      • S****** Blonde September 2, 2016

LOL, Mark, those are well known artists, also it’s not only singers but the Producers, Swedish producers are famous for their good pop sound, it has nothing to do with being proud, lol, I was dragging the poor girl ???

    • Sam September 2, 2016

I agree. I think these past few years have been the rise of the generic singer with the generic sounding voice and songs

  6. B_Roni September 2, 2016

I like her and i support her but she sounds too much like Miley I’m my opinion. If Miley sang this it would go straight to the hot 100.

  7. Mark111?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️ September 2, 2016

Trying to soind like Rihanna will not work. She’ll be a one hit wonder like Robin. We seen what happeb5to the last Euro girl that tried5to be like Rihanna. Oh the Whora.

    • Taylor Swift-To-Find-A-New-Man (Slayty) September 2, 2016

What Rihanna song does this sound like?

      • Mark111?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️ September 2, 2016

I’m talking about her voice, so with that said, every Rihanna song.

    • Sam September 2, 2016

Robyn is not a one hit wonder, check the receipts

  8. Rey September 2, 2016

White girl + black music = Hit
Black girl + black music = flop

The world constantly devaluing black contributions… Priceless… ?

    • B_Roni September 2, 2016

This is not always true. Pis Mis and Jojo tried that and neither are receiving love on the hot 100

      • B_Roni September 2, 2016

Lol omg. I meant Pia Mia. Damn auto type

    • Taylor Swift-To-Find-A-New-Man (Slayty) September 2, 2016

What is black music? You sound ignorant

      • Danzou September 2, 2016

@Taylor what tf do u mean what is black music? It’s every genre in American music other than some folk and country. Take a history of rock and roll class at your nearest community college and maybe you’d learn something

    • Sam September 2, 2016

I think its the case of when your black and can sing, dance or are good at sports no one is surprised anymore but when it’s white people it’s surprising. Unfortunately there is little to no market or any new black artists.

      • Danzou September 2, 2016

        @sam Yes!

  9. Taylor Swift-To-Find-A-New-Man (Slayty) September 2, 2016

There is literally no difference between her sound and Pia Mia’s and Tinashe’s. Its a no for me

  10. The voice of a generation September 2, 2016

This song sounds like a Rihanna demo. She should had stuck with the sound she had with lush life instead of trying to go urban pop.

  11. Danzou September 2, 2016

It sound like rihanna and clearly the industry is still trying to recreate rihanna. They failed with rita ora and now this h**. Not to mention I’m soooo tired of white people blatantly jacking other people’s culture for money it’s annoying. It’s the exact reason we swith styles so much and white people can’t keep up. First they stole soul music. Then rnb. Then rock n roll. Then pop music. Then rap. Then hip hop. Then trap music. And when the next thing comes along they’ll stick their noses in it as well.

    • S****** Blonde September 2, 2016

So, I don’t want to see a black person singing opera, folk or country music. Btw, Rock and Roll was by many other music genres, including Country music (white music), on top of that, what we know today as Rock music, evolved thanks to white musicians, The Beatles, The Doors, etc, little or nothing has that form of Rock and Roll (Rock Music) with the original Rock and Roll of the 1950’s, it’s totally different. There are many sub-genres within Rock music, some are so different that are defined as another genre, like Heavy Metal, which has a long list of sub-genres itself, black people have nothing to do with that or the other music genres that evolved from Rock music. And if you do a little research, you’ll find that even the early form of Rock and Roll wasn’t exclusive to black people, it was a southern thing, more than anything, southern people, blacks and whites were doing it, it was something that was born there, and as I pointed out black people took inspiration from everyone to develop that sound, no one is original, everybody is inspiring by something, keep that in mind, black people aren’t God, they didn’t create everything, at least not without the help of some others.

      • Aunt_Jackie September 2, 2016

S****** Blonde, you really have no idea what you’re talking about. At all. Even country music has common roots with African American Blues. The father of country music, Jimmie Rodgers, recorded a song called “In the Jailhouse Now” (thought of as one of the very first “country songs”, which was originally recorded years before him by Blind Blake – a black artist. The Jimmie Rodgers version changed the words.

No one is saying that “White” people didn’t contribute to the evolution of musical forms, but if you’re talking about who has made the most money and taken the most credit for music that predominately grew out African American rhythms and structures, African American people want both their credit and their check. Just as SOUTHERN FOOD is not SOUTHERN FOOD, it is food originated by slaves and indigenous people who had to make use of whatever was around them, Rock n’ Roll is NOT Southern Music, it came out of gospel and blues.

THE BANJO is a musical instrument that came from Africa – only to be used and adopted by all Americans.

The question is not who contributed, but it is about origins, credit, burden and benefit.

Electronic music – also originated by African Americans. Look up Jesse Saunders.

“The DC go-go sound of Miami bass was essentially a regional sound that did not garner much mass appeal. Chicago house sound had expanded into the Detroit music environment and mutated into more electronic and industrial sounds creating Detroit techno, acid, jungle. Mating these experimental, usually DJ-oriented, sounds with the prevalence of the multi-ethnic New York City disco sound from the 1970s and 1980s created a brand of music that was most appreciated in the huge discothèques that are located in cities like Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Detroit, Boston, etc. Eventually, European audiences embraced this kind of electronic dance music with more enthusiasm than their North American counterparts.”

Look up Sister Rosette Thorpe if you are interested in the origins of Rock N’ Roll from the African American church. Look up Robert Johnson if you are interested in Blues.

        Shut. the. f***. up.

    • I’m Anti-Rihanna September 2, 2016

B**** you sound stupid how did white people steal pop music!

      • Aunt_Jackie September 2, 2016

No one stole anything. IF you read a book, any book, you might know that for hundreds of years when new forms of music that come out of black and multi-ethnic communities are monetized they are left out and the origins of that music are erased, confused and ignored. But you probably can’t read past a fourth grade level you simple b****.

      • Danzou September 2, 2016

@aunt I stopped arguing with white people over this a long time ago. The majority of then suffer from cognitive dissonance and refuse to accept new information. I literally took COLLEGE CLASSES that taught me what I know. Don’t waste your time trying to tell them anything. S****** blonde is a f****** idiot and so is that other turd that commented. Rock n roll literally stems from rnb and soul music and every other genre does too. Lol what makes them think that white people invented opera? Where are the receipts? They don’t have any cuz white people will say anything to defend themselves.

      • S****** Blonde September 2, 2016

Afrocentrism vibes, who invented Opera them?…..Blacks, LOL………..Almost every form of music can be traced back to Europe, you should know that if you took college classes about it, or was your teacher African Americans, that would explain all. AFROCENTRISM.

      • Danzou September 2, 2016

You’re such a f****** idiot. Not only are you deflecting but you’re obviously not listening either. I said all forms of American music other than some country and some folk influences were created by AFRICAN AMERICANS. My teacher was a white person and was very educated and fair about his course. I never said that black people invented opera. I asked you to prove that white people invented it. And you still haven’t provided receipts. You’re a fool if you think all forms of music can be traced back to Europe. Europeans were singing blues? Rnb? Pop? Lol shut yo dumb ass up.

      • S****** Blonde September 2, 2016

I didn’t say that RnB was created by Europeans, I said, Almost every form of music can be traced back to Europe in one way or another, ALMOST, as the earliest stages, roots, instruments etc, since you love to talk about the roots, get it now?……….Opera originated in Italy in the 16 and 17 centuries, Italians are Europeans (aka White). I find it funny that you are so convinced about what music African Americans created but put in doubt that an European art (Opera) could have been invented by Europeans. Really interesting, again, you’re giving me AFROCENTRISM vibes.

      • Danzou September 2, 2016

I’m not in doubt of anything you dip s***. The roots that I was talking about was AMERICAN ROOTS then YOU brought up Europe. But since you’re so obsessed with Europe how about we talk about the moors that helped civilize Europe. All these forms of music and all these instruments you speak of, where do you think they came from? The sky? At this point you’re just coming up with anything to argue. You haven’t provided any real information outside of your own irritating ass opinion. Then you insinuate afro centricism has a negative connotation to it. Please shut up. Seriously you’re making yourself look worse with each comment simply because you’re not educated on what you’re debating about.

      • S****** Blonde September 2, 2016

I bet you think the Moors were blacks, again, AFROCENTRISM vibes, you’re reading way too much crap that you’re actually convinced of that, I once read a very laughable article of them, one that stated that the Vikings (my ancestors) were black too and that black people actually ruled Europe and the history has been erased by Eurocentrics ????

      • Danzou September 2, 2016

Ok then PROVE IT. You’re doing all this debating but you aren’t proving anything. You’re an idiot if you think moors were white. Europe WAS ruled by Africans first. Or did you forget that Africans were the first people on earth? You are a damn fool.

      • S****** Blonde September 2, 2016

Lmao, the Moors were Berbers, who are actually Caucasian, no, they didn’t look like modern Europeans but they were actually Caucasian, just like Middle easterners are Caucasian but not white in the same context that a German is, get it.

      • Danzou September 2, 2016

I didn’t think you could get any more stupid. Moors were African and if they weren’t then PROVE IT.

      • S****** Blonde September 2, 2016

The term Moors refers to the Muslim inhabitants of the Maghreb, North Africa and the Iberian Peninsula, Sicily, and Malta during the Middle Ages, who initially were Berber and Arab peoples of North African descent.

      • S****** Blonde September 2, 2016

As a group, they plotted closest to the populations of Northern Egypt and intermediate to Northern Europeans and tropical Africans: “the data supported the comments from ancient authors observed by classicists: everything from fair-skinned blonds to peoples who were dark-skinned ‘Ethiopian’ or part Ethiopian in appearance.” GET It, Thery were probably a diverse ethnic group at the most, but definitely not exclusively black.

  12. I’m Anti-Rihanna September 2, 2016

So I’ve come to the conclusion that this danzou gal is mentally retarded.

    • Danzou September 2, 2016

Ok but where are your receipts?

  13. FC/JC September 2, 2016

Im such a fan of hers, Ive watched her grind, and cant wait until her huge US breakthrough.
However I agree with most comments on her, that shes gonna have to try harder to set herself apart from the vast amount of girls already out there with the same sound and producers, if she wants to have longevity.

  14. Nowqd Reddish tran ivy blobukz Need UK timely Ukuno eremixi September 2, 2016

Nice song first time hearing about her

  15. ANNA September 2, 2016

I liked her a bit at first. The main thing that put me off was when I heard her trying to rap on Tinie Tempahs song. Why was she rapping with British-accent and flow when she’s from Sweden? It’s just like how Piggy raps with a Southern accent even though she’s from Australia. It’s weird af!

  16. candace September 2, 2016

zara larsson and era istrefi are the new european rihanna, listen to era istrefi bonbon !

  17. MusicFan103 September 3, 2016

I dug the jam. Past few weeks or months I have been digging “Never Forget You.” You can’t deny she has talent whether you see it as swagger jacking anyone or Urban music.

I mean sometimes if a song is catchy it does not matter who sings on it IMO. Thats how I feel with this, plus she seems like she could be a big star.

She almost reminds me of Robyn. Robyn do not forget in the 90s began as an R&B Pop artist and was essentially the same vibe and idea for Britney Spears when she began working with Max Martin and Denniz PoP. May he RIP! A legend to Pop music.

  18. Junior in Jamaica September 4, 2016

I like this…will the buying public? Will it hit the upper parts of Billboard? Time will tell.
