Taylor Swift Faces Startling Spy Claims

Taylor Swift‘s efforts to protect herself from crazed stalkers may have seen her “spy” on unknowing fans when they attend her sold-out live shows.

Full story below…

Swift’s fans have learned that she has been secretly surveilling them using a high-tech system which scans and saves their faces onto a database. Why? To detect stalkers who may pose a threat to her.

Jay Stanley of the ACLU explained…

Stalkers are a generally scary phenomenon and everyone understands why someone like Taylor  would want to be protected against them. But this does have larger implications. It is not about this one deployment, it is about where this is technology is headed.Even if they do everything right at the Taylor Swift concert, as we see this technology spread there are going to be a lot of problems along these lines.

Swift’s decision to keep a close eye on concert attendees is fuelled by the insanity she has been forced to deal with as a result of boundary pushing fans.

Insanity, which saw one enter her apartment building, another who was arrested outside of her home and another threaten to kill her.

She is yet to respond to the criticism she is facing from some supporters who questioned how their technology she employed to protect herself will be used in the future.

Well people should be informed that such technology is being used. Plain and simple. That is a violation of privacy. What about data protection by the way ? Selling info to third party companies ? People don’t know any of that.
Well it’s not like I would ever consider going to one of her shows but that is not respectful for the attendees.
