SZA can’t help but sing Doja Cat‘s praises.
In a new interview for V Magazine, the ‘Good Days’ songstress – who acted as the interviewer – compared Doja to pop icon Britney Spears.
Her words below…
“Are you ready to be Britney Spears? ‘Cause that’s where you’re headed. Do you know that?.”
“You’re going to be a f***ing global, like, number one sensation. Cause there’s never been anybody like you. You’re literally about to be Britney Spears, and I can’t wait.”
This led the ‘Say So’ singer to respond by saying:
“I just want to have the moment to say ‘It’s Doja, b*tch.'”
During the rest of the interview, Doja dished on her upcoming album ‘Planet Her’ and confirmed a SZA collaboration will appear on it.

Doja will be huge and rightfully so as she’s ridiculously refreshing and exciting while being amazingly talented.
But Britney level? Nah. No one will ever see a Britney, Beyoncé, and Michael level again. That kind of pandemonium has died and is a thing of the past. The industry has changed for the worst to where that kind of level is almost unattainable at this point. But Doja will be a lot bigger than she is now which I’m really excited for.

If anything, Dua Lipa is the next Britney. Having said that, I do hope Doja continues to keep her head down and work hard. She is talented and her visual/creative team does a good job. Other than Cardi, there is no real competition for the female hip-pop lane because it ain’t stale ass Megan…Flo Milli might surpass her in creativity at this point.
