Three years in the making, Sam Smith‘s new album ‘Hazel Eyes‘ – the follow-up to 2023’s critically acclaimed ‘Gloria‘ – finally landed on digital shelves Friday (August 21).
Suited for Billboard 200 battle on the wings of singles ‘When He’s Gone,’ ‘My Guy,’ ‘Oh Mother,’ ‘Love Is a Stillness,’ and ‘To Be Free,’ the Capitol Records-released set comes as the GRAMMY winner’s first studio effort to be released without a Hot 100 hit to its credit.
That could change, however, with the unveiling of its latest track to be gifted the video treatment: ‘Constant Companion.’
“‘Cause you / You are my constant companion / You know it’s true / Those silhouettes seen drifting through the canyon / Four guns hang on the sides of two white stallions,” they sing over Simon Aldred production.
