For, with video streaming figures now counting towards Billboard Hot 100 positions, the single will benefit not only from its traditional sales but the million of views the video will generate once its uploaded.
While it’ll take more time to see it win overseas, her decision to launch the single and video on the same day gives its US wings no choice but to soar…perhaps, witnessing the industry’s new streaming rules have worked to aid the likes of Ciara, Rihanna and their more recent releases.
