With sales of Justin Timberlake‘s ‘The 20/20 Experience’ now hitting the 4.75 million mark, there’s no doubt his long time friend/competitor Beyonce eyes similar glory for her fifth studio album.
So, perhaps it makes sense that the icon has decided to take as much as time as she needs to perfect the release, calling on Pharrell Williams to help craft numbers for the hotly anticipated effort!
Now, in an interview that will no doubt excite the ‘Creole’ singer’s fans, Williams has spoken openly about the release…revealing that it won’t be released until she believes it’s good enough for those fans.
His words below…
Speaking to Billboard, he shared:
“B’s album is crazy. She’s very particular. She’s a Virgo. And she’s not going to put it out until it’s ready and feels like it’s right to her. She’s got a very specific taste. I guess that’s the reason she’s Beyoncé. Her name is recognizable around the globe and that’s huge. When you know what you want, you won’t stop until you get it.”
He went on to add:
“Other people are hearing her album and are like ‘Whoa!’ And she’s like, ‘Yeah, I’m almost done.’ And she’s the queen.”

What is wrong with simply admitting that the album was scrapped? It played out in our faces…released BD/IBO for public reaction (most likely the two singles The Dream mentioned way back in January)! The publics reaction was sour, therefor she went back to the drawing board! If BD was a hit with the GP and radio I bet you the “Mrs Carter” album would be six months old by now.

As a Beyonce FAN (not stan) I was expected new music almost a year ago. Although she KILLLLLEEEDDDD the SB I was under the impression that she would perform her new single. I eagerly awaited the two singles that The Dream bragged about prior to the SB. When none of this came to fruition, I figured that she decided to continue to craft album 5. I’m not blind, deaf or dumb. Beyonce is a perfectionist and maybe she figured that her album wasn’t shaped to her liking. No biggie. We’ll get it when we get it. I like Rihanna too, but her and the Ciara fans need to quit it.
