They edited out that dope silhouette part in the teaser. It was a dope video. Whoever directed it did a great job at aping Quentin Tarantino. As for the song, it still lives and dies by the chorus. I am looking forward to seeing if Iggy is gonna improve her rhymes. What I will say is that if she even has an iota of acting talent, this chick has a career on screen in her future. I see where they were trying to go, but it fell a little short.
The diner scene was unnecessarily drawn out, and didn’t set up the rest of the video very well. There was no need for the manager to be added into any of the scenes.
They should have used that time to add the silhouette shots from the teaser. Or if they were truly going to go epic with it, they should have had the video run for 9 minutes, so that a full story could actually be told. I did like the fact that they got the guy who played Bill’s brother in the “Kill Bill” movies in this video, and I liked T.I.’s cameo, but the video could have been a lot better overall.
Both ladies looked hot, and it’s clear she got a higher budget for this video than any of her others in the past. I give this video a “7.5” out of 10, because there’s definitely some potential.
The lady in the beginning had me dying and the visuals are stunning and on point! Another great video by Iggy Azalea! Rita’s tits looked great too. For people complaining about another movie them keep in mind Work, Bounce, and Change Your Life were all original videos. Iggy always takes inspiration from videos.

Watching the video again and I feel like they should have made it Iggy vs. Rita.
The reason being Rita’s role as it is is forced. She’s not mad at the guy in the diner, clearly she’s his girlfriend who puts up with his sht but is still with him. Her running up to poker games and trying to kill him doesn’t fit with the character we meet initially.
Iggy on the other hand does work. It’s a fantasy about her taking down a guy she hates. If they’d made Rita one of his ‘henchwomen’ they could have battled against each other with him basically being taken down the same. It’d also fit in more with the theme of crazy women in relationships.
It was cutish, but a flaming mess.
