why do people think that creative people like MJ and Prince are gay, please comment on something that you know for a fact. Artists such as as Prince and MJ came from the 80s wear you had to be dramatic in your appearance, it was about giving a show, wearing make up was done for that effect. Now it’s amazing how MJ and Prince are called and mocked being gay, yet people lable Rappers and R and B singers as poster men for heterosexuality, or straight men . But, Prince nor MJ ever wrote songs calling women filthy names, or talk about having a*** s**, the same s** posistion homosexual men perform on each other. hmm not that I’m aware of. MJ and Prince donot and didn’t wear make up like this when not performing. MJ had to wear permanent make up due to his illness. But that doesn’t make him gay.
Prince uplifts women , MJ adored women through their music, and just because they aren’t conforming to what others deem as masculine, people slander their names. Yet, praise rappers who tell women to bend over like a dog. A mind is a terrible thing to waste, read more write less.
By reading these comments it’s obvious that the majority of posters are young, and cannot remember the days when all an artists had to do was demonstrate how talented they were, and people loved them for it, and embraced individuality.

MJFAN hit the nail on the head! Prince and Michael Jackson did not degrade women like the majority of today’s so called artist. They actually made MUSIC!! Prince never talked about sticking someone booty, male or female and he is just as handsome as he was when he first appeared on the scene over thirty years ago.
I completely agree with MJFAN. Some of the younger posters should really go back and listen to Prince’s first album “For You” in 1978 and work their way up to the present to really get an idea of just how creative and genius this man is. Not to mention all of the artists that he has produced hits for like Chaka Khan, The Bangles, Sheila E, Sinead O’Conner, etc. He has touched so many lives and careers. That’s why he was voted one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential people. Most artists these days can’t touch his level of creativity. He is still influencing artists like Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Maxwell, D’Angelo, Lenny Kravitz and countless others.

LOl, don’t quite like the cover, but I am a fan of his craft. Hope this coverstory means he has another album to top the LotusFlow3r/MpLSound bomb last year.
Prince doesn’t use a record label so you are not going to see the same level of promotion that you do with other artists. However, he manages to garner half-way decent sales because of his die-hard fan base. LotusFlow3r/MpLSound narrowly missed a #1 debut to country artist Keiith Urban and is probably Gold by now. I’m assuming more of the proceeds actually goes into his pockets since there’s not so many record company execs with their hands out ready to collect from someone else’s creation.
