Fans of the rapper Kid Cudi rejoiced when they learned he had joined the cast of the hit show ‘Empire.’

Alas, said joy has been replaced with confusion now that they have learned that his role has been seized by Romeo Miller.

Creative differences between Cudi and the show’s writers are said to have been the reason he was sliced out of the show after shooting several scenes for its next season.

On September 1st, he posed for the picture above  and below with two of his co-stars after they learned Cudi’s departure meant that they had to reshoot all of the scenes in which he performed.
