The actress Viola Davis is reportedly shaken after she scared off a gang of thieves who attempted to break into her home.

The Oscar winning star was asleep when she and her husband were woken by the sound of glass breaking and was horrified when she realised that would-be burglars had used a ladder to try to gain access to the home she shares with her family.
Fortunately, they were able to scare the thieves away but are yet to learn if anything was stolen from the property.
