Despite dubbing himself 2018’s “most successful comeback” (click here to read more on that), Soulja Boy‘s 2019 has not exactly kicked off on the right foot.
Riddled with rumors of drug use after unflattering photos and videos of him demonstrating abnormal behavior hit the net, the rapper’s speaking out to slam detractors who believe his conduct’s the result of cocaine use.

While whispers have long swirled around reports of the 29-year-old’s drug use, those rumors went into overdrive when he hit the WeTV red carpet in support of the premiere of ‘Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop’ (which he also stars). When quizzed about his involvement (or lack thereof) with the recently announced ‘Millenium’ tour headlined by 2000’s R&B boyband B2K, his erratic response raised eyebrows.
The video above made its rounds quickly, as did reports of his car accident in California just days before. As the news garnered attention and ridicule from social media commenters, Soulja Boy took to the net over the weekend to deny allegations of drug use.
I agree that people jump to the worst conclusion. Don’t stereotype. If he’s on something let him deal with it between him, God and his family. It’s not everyone’s judgement the people saying these things are doing things?
