That performance was amazing. We all know she is going to flop, but give credit where it is due. HER DANCING WAS UNBELIEVABLE! No one, and I mean no one can dance as good as her. She has come a long way from dancing and singing out of breath. She sounded fairly amazing too given she was dancing!
If she had started this promotion back in April, we ALL know she wouldn’t have flopped. I blame her management. It’ll be interesting to see how things play out with her label these following weeks.

I agree! She can entertain! I haven’t really liked the material that she has been releasing lately, but she knows how to put on a show on stage. I wish that some of these other artists would put effort into having a great performance, but you know what? A person has to be born with that talent, it cannot be learned.

I can’t wait for the next two weeks to see if Rihanna will really hit the 2 million mark. Her stans says she will hit the 2 million mark in 6 weeks, I will be checking her numbers on media traffic, because I don’t trust the numbers that her stans are putting out. Right now state-side Rihanna is at 495,000, billboard reported that she did 71,000 this week. Last week she was at 949,000 WW, media traffic will release WW sales tomorrow, she will have to do 300,000 WW to get to 1.2 million, it is possible, but we shall see. Another thing her last tour did not do well, billboard release top grossing tour which included US and WW dates, and her 65 date tour did not even make 28 million, so before the STANS start making all these predictions on how much she is going to sell remember her last album only sold 2.8 million WW, and her tour we all know how that went. Not hating, just stating facts. Ciara killed that performance…did not like to song, but overall very good performance.

She definitely could have gotten some sales if she had performed like this at say the AMA’s or VMA’s or GMA or the Today Show, or something! Anything damn! Ellen is alright, but I think it is lil to late now. SMH.
I’ll admit, I don’t like this song at all, but this performance would defintely make me pay attention to her. SHe never disappoints when she hits the stage….as far as her dancing goes. She is truly an entertainer. She is like a modern day Janet, she could be huge right now if she had the right material and better management!
Since she is not the best singer, performing is where she shines. She can definitely hold your attention during a performance. I don’t believe Ciara writes her own material so she really relies on hot song writers to write hot ish for her. If they aren’t providing hot ish for her than she will fail. All the hot performances in the world won’t equal sales if the material isn’t hot!
Keri is still gonna sell more than her though.

Why is Ciara so harshly and overly judged?
If she did 3 backflips and landed on one hand people would say “that’s all she got ????”
Ciara’s singes have been good and her videos are nice. “Gimme That” video is great. She’s on the wall, she’s stepping, etc and people still said that video is wack.
Then they get on her for the matrix, and saying Beyonce can do it further. Ciara is taller and she holds it longer so I think she’s advanced it more.
Rihanna does blah performances and people get excited if she whines for four seconds. But Ciara gives routines and she gets shaded. It’s annoying.
She puts on a routine , she does different forms of hip hop dancing and jazz dance styles, she’s flexible, athletic. She can do sensual things as well as aggressive street moves. She’s a master at doing intricate choreography and has stage presence.

Love Ciara… but this performance did nothing for me lol. #kanyeshrug. Must be my age, as I am not entertained by most performers these days including your favorite artist lol. Good luck to her though, she is gorgeous.

She’s a great dancer, but the problem is she’s been doing the same moves for some time & there isn’t any variance to her choreography. You could switch this choreography w/ that Work song she had and not know the difference. She needs to create an identity through choreography for each song so that each song has memorable choreography like Janet & MJ did or even Aaliyah. She also needs to establish a look for each song.. She did this perfectly with Promise… everything else has blended together. Rihanna is successful b/c she is a master @ doing this. Creating a persona for each song.
This could have had the potential to be a great record if she a.) had a better set; b.) had a better wardrobe, really her being in all black as well made it difficult for her to pop amongst her black clad dancers; c.) had better choreography; and d.) had defined a persona for this record. This is why she fails.
Ciara has won several ASCAP awards for her son writing skills…..WHICH MEANS SHE WRITES HER OWN ISH!
Ciara you have a great personality and humble. I am sorry about your sales prayfully they are better than predicted. I have never purchased your albums but I have jammed to a lot of your songs in the goodie days and your last album “fantasy ride” had some nice songs. I will purchase this album bc of your personality eventhough I don’t really feel none of the songs but ride was catchy on the radio. Also, MONICA is my number 1 female r&b artist and I support everything she does and you and her are really close and families are close so I will support this album….Good luck and it will get better because you are a very talented and a great performer, you gave me Janet Jackson vibe on this awesome performance. hang in there. this was all over the place… its like oh its a dance break.. and then its not… and then it is again. like she couldnt make up her mind what she wanted to do with this performance.
Janet keeps it simple.. one simple dance break in the middle of a song an bam.. its hot. ciara did ten thousand different things you almost forgot what song she was performing..it was just way too much. and inconsistent!
