Randomly sitting at my laptop wondering why I could count on my one hand how many televised performances I’ve seen from the uber talented Keri Hilson. I hit up Youtube and stumbled upon this clip of Keri performing new single ‘Turnin’ Me On’ on KTLA TV a few weeks back. A pretty decent showing, I must say.
However, I can’t help but be a little grated by the fact that it’s this song that is performing the best of all the Keri material released thus far (radio spins in the US are a-mazing and the track is gaining on the iTunes chart everyday). The far superior ‘Energy’ and ‘Return The Favour’ are more deserving of success IMO. That said, I can’t hate on Keri at all; she’s getting her foot in and making a name for herself. Here’s hoping she sustains the success, so that her better material gets a chance to be heard by the masses.
What do you think of the performances?
The ending was horrible…Great interview…her performance was ok…i love keri but she needs to step it up…her vocals were a lil all over the place..and i was expecting maybe a dance during waynes verse or a break down…but hey..LOL

Wow…u'r soo right Sam!! I didn't realize it was gettin all this succes…it cracked into most charts…Rhythmic, Pop, R&B, Billboard 100…n it is rising up n up every week…she's got sooo many hot songs…n her performance wasn't that bad…she seemed kinda sick though…as if she couldn't breathe…

SHE KILLS THIS LIKE NO OTHER, the vocal riffs at the end are beautiful, its this that makes me love Keri sooo much! Stay true girl, dont go commercial with wayne to quick yet!

I agree with you sam. ENERGY WENT HARD in my car when it came out!!! i was like who is this girl!!! they didnt give her enough cred for that joint nor video play. and the video was hot!??!?!? but, of course, lil wayne is featured on this one so i pressume thats why it has gotten more buzz 🙁
Im mad this is doing better then Energy! Energy was a way bettter record. This is like what 60 something on BB and #78 on Itunes. Killing Energy.
