For, just seconds after premiering the video for introductory effort ‘Joanna,’ the songbird hatched the cover for official lead single ‘Sabotage.’

Taking to social media, the 28-year-old confirmed that the Chika assisted track will be uncaged on October 25th. She also shared a pre-save link.
Given how much of an uphill hustle some of Jo’s earlier chapters have been, we’re loving the execution of this era so far.

This is too much. I like JoJo but this is becoming a sloppy rollout. If Atlantic couldn’t bring her back to prominence, I doubt Warner brothers can. I’m hoping for a true return to chart slaying for JoJo. The music has never been an issue

Yeah, I’m not sure what you mean by this. She releases a buzz track/video talking about her troubled career with a final lyric “hurry up and drop your new s***” and then follows up by announcing the lead single from her new album.
It’s a clever way to acknowledge her past and let us know she is spending all of 2 minutes on what’s held her back before giving us the album we know she’s had in her for years.
I like the strategy and she’s giving two weeks of promo for the next single which is healthy in this day and age. Nothing sloppy about this. She’s spent the last 3 years surrounding herself with a team that wants to make her a star. This is calculated.
Reckless should have been her “hit” single or Thinking out Loud. But her “TEAM” missed the hit potential as usual. STOP RELEASING THE WRONG SINGLES……..AND RUINING THIS GIRLS TALENT. DUMB STUPID UNRESPONSIVE TEAM WHO DO NOT KNOW HOW TO MARKET THIS GIRL.

She SAID she needed to get something off her chest before she began the era and that was what Joanna was about. This is the official single – if you were a fan of music you would be focusing on hearing it instead of the order it is released in because you couldn’t A&R yourself out of a whales a** hole if it had a open door in it. I just heard Sabotage in full… and I love it. I love the way it sounds, the vocals, all of it. What I don’t love is that she’s choosing a collab as her lead single. I wish she would have chosen a song that showcases her voice alone, not one where she’s sharing the spotlight. I hate to say this, because I adore JoJo and want her to succeed, but I don’t see this song getting a lot of airtime on the radio. I’ll stream the hell out of it when it drops on Spotify, Apple Music, and will watch the video on YouTube to give her those numbers, but it’s not the single I was hoping for. I know her album is gonna be killer, she’s worked with some great people, but this shouldn’t have been the song to start with.
Also… i would love to be proven wrong. I want it to get a ton of buzz, I just don’t know…
