Madonna is among many remembering celebrated actor Mark Blum after reports surfaced he died of complications related to COVID-19 Wednesday (March 25).
Aged 69, the award-winning actor – who’s earned acclaim on Broadway, film, and television over his lengthy career – most famously starred in 80’s cult classics ‘Crocodile Dundee’ (1986) and ‘Desperately Seeking Susan’ (1985) alongside the Pop megastar.
Taking to Instagram Thursday (March 26), the Pop Queen poured out heartfelt condolences to Blum’s family and fans – fondly remembering her time with him on ‘Susan’s set.

According to CNN, March 25 was the deadliest day yet for Americans succumbing to complications related to COVID-19. Blum was among a whopping 223 reported losses on that date alone, a count that brings the U.S. total to at least 928 (as of time reported).
On Thursday (March 26), Johns Hopkins University announced the United States – now with 82,400 confirmed – has more positive coronavirus cases than any other country in the world, including China and Italy.
